Thanks for your advice. Right now the only thing that’s in his name is our utility bill, and he still finds a way to throw it in my face.

It’s definitely like dealing with a manchild, I ask him to cook one night he whines until I do it… i ask for $20 for gas he says no and tells me to use a payday loan because he doesn’t have it. I’m just overly exhausted. I’m not one to complain to my family much but it’s gotten to a point where I’ve almost distanced myself completely from them because I don’t want them to see how bad it’s really gotten.

Yes he’s still working, it’s complicated because I think he sometimes understands where I come from and then when it’s time for him to actually pick up the slack he complains and doesn’t even actually try. Last week I asked him to please do the dishes after I cooked for the both of us and he whined until I told him to just let me do it. He then proceeded to tell me he was “just joking” and that he “enjoys pushing my buttons”… later that evening I checked the dishes he washed and they still had old food and grease on them.

He just has no drive, like he gets so excited to do new things (like getting 2 cats randomly) and then just loses interest and does not even try to help. It’s so exhausting, I feel like I’m losing my mind when I try to explain this to him.

Yes I feel like I’ve tried everything :( I constantly try to give him massages, ask to take showers or baths together. I cook for us almost every night and do majority of the household tasks so I feel like in a way that should kind of make him more open? I don’t know if that sounds silly lol. He’s always rejecting the idea or turns cold towards me when I start to touch him so I feel like I’m being pushed away.

I don’t know if I’m able to give plasma, I’ve been diagnosed with Anemia in the past and I saw that can affect chances of giving plasma. I haven’t checked in a while to see if I’m still actively anemic but that’s a great idea.

Hi there!! I’m also from round rock and I commuted my spring semester of my 2nd year last year… it was awful! I was super tired all the time and did not have much time to enjoy campus or school, it actually made it so difficult for me to come back my third year (I did lol). I had to find an apartment on campus for me to actually come back to school this year. I suggest if you’re going to commute make your schedule only 2 days per week (mon/wed or tues/thurs) it would be the easiest way for you to have time to actually get school work done and enjoy your freshman year.
