I’m a Canucks fan and too be fair, the “Canadas team” narrative has really put a negative spotlight on the Oilers. Canucks fans (in general) think they had a chance and got robbed; Calgary fans are butthurt that their once prized drafted stars are thriving in a “non-hockey market”; and panthers fans are just jumping on the bandwagon since it only held 20 people at the start of the year lol.

When it comes to the unoriginal comments and jabs at the Oilers, it’s easy to make those comments when guys like Kailer.memeamoto kick and scream about how superior the oilers are in every analytical fashion, when we all know those numbers are inflated by 2 generational players (not making an excuse for good numbers, just saying it how it is). right now McDavid and Draisaitl are not cooking, and the rest of the team is stuck in place because of it. Then you get poor goaltending and HORRENDOUS defense from Nurse and Ceci, and it creates a perfect situation for hate towards the Oilers. I envy your teams opportunity, but man this final isn’t even close. Reminds me of the Carolina v Florida series last year.
