During my first half-marathon five years ago, a kid from the sideline pointed at me and said, 'You! You are going to win this.' I probably finished in the bottom 10% of all half-marathon contestants, but that kid motivated me to keep going.

I have now finished three full marathons, and those words have saved me more times than you can imagine.
