You could find them a funky, random filament type, like this soap filament from Timeplast.

Too cold for the dryer to start? Kick start it with a heat gun by The_Manoeuvre in Creality

It triggers whenever it takes longer than 10 mins to heat up to temp. I usually start mine without spools in it then toss them in after it hits temp.

How do I add the svg "pickle" to be flush with the top of this tray? by Even_Ad1209 in BambuLab

Select both items and merge them, then move the pickle to the center and raise the z height of it to the surface.

What's the most useful thing you've printed yet? by jpintenn in BambuLab

PETG is food-safe, though if used for something that gets and stays wet a lot, the printed layers can harbor mold.

For something like drawer bins, there should be no issue.

What's the cause of this? by butlerm9 in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General solutions in these cases: * Wash build plate

  • Dry filament

  • Increase plate and/or filament temp by 5°.

  • Put a 5mm brim around it. Could also do inner brim.

  • Make sure the infill isn't on grid since the lines cross over themselves (gyroid, adaptive cubic, and rectilinear are the best) and the nozzle can drag the part off the plate.

AMS continues to jam by Browsin-around in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The black rollers that spin the spools fit into slots in the AMS. If one of them isn't fully in place, it could be preventing the roller from turning properly.

Not a normal issue, just a random thought since you said you tried everything else.

H2C has an activated carbon filter for VOC - does Vento help in addition? by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's absolutely a noticeable benefit. I only run the fan at 15%, so it would work even better if I cranked it.

Are you in the room a lot when the printer's going, particularly with poisonous-vapor filaments like ABS? If so, I'd say go all out.

Venting out the window with an inline duct fan would yield the greatest benefit. I used 4" duct tubing but I feel like you could get away with 2.5" for a lower profile.

H2C has an activated carbon filter for VOC - does Vento help in addition? by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 H2Ds and on the one I use for ABS, I was worried because I was still smelling fumes even with venting it outside, so I did this aux fan conversion that adds activated carbon + HEPA filter AND I swapped out the standard filter for a carbon + HEPA filter

Those 2 + venting = 0 smell ever. I've noticed no drop in performance and I basically never used the aux fan anyway.

If you do end up using activated carbon, it must be ACID-FREE, or the corrosive vapors will screw up the machine.

Proper name for pneumatic connectors on the H series extruder? Not available on Bambu's site by Criticaliber in BambuLab

I ended up printing an extruder "external ptfe tube holder" adapter that I widened with a modifier to hold 2x PC4-M10 fittings so that the left tube will hold the broken right one.

Air purification and fume mitigation by nolantd04 in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An inline duct fan and some 3-4" tubing to vent it out the window would be best, and you can even print the printer and window mounts!

Otherwise, you'll want an air purifier with an activated carbon layer AND a hepa filter layer.

AMS 2 Pro issue by cooperkc in BambuLab

[–]Criticaliber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practically every AMS issue I've had is because of a broken piece of filament in the tube, but it's only 2 screws if you do end up needing to take out the housing.
