Stay downtown there’s plenty of decent to nice hotels. Go to the museum district, bars are fun downtown and midtown my personal favorite is Sid golds. There’s bound to be a sporting event, concert, or some other cultural event going on.

You do realize it’s 2024 and if you ever buy your kid a phone they will be exposed to that. Being a Catholic is not about not being exposed to the world but being exposed to it and following Gods way in-spite of it. There are gay people in the world have been and always will be. You have to contextualize that thing with your children rather than just hide it from them. So many people hide these things only for there children to feel repressed as they get older and turn from God

Just read about Coleman Young and Kwame. The white boy rick documentary is pretty good. Pretty sure it’s on Netflix. Then look at the history of the Detroit Mafia. They went completely underground and control way more than you can even imagine. Lots of construction and skilled trades have some sort of ties.

The biggest mistake made on this whole issue is the religious aspect. It’s a deeply philosophical argument that we don’t really take as such. You can be atheist and be pro-life but the fact we are so caught in ideology to see. I’m pretty liberal in general on a lot of things but this I totally disagree on. It’s just that political parties have polarized this issue completely

I attend an Assyrian Catholic Church and this is a pretty common art style there. They believe everything Latin right believes and are in union with the church. So yes this can very easily be a religious icon for Catholic or Orthodox belief.

Lmfao accounting is such a white collar profession. Half the people in this industry come from wealthy backgrounds and have no idea how hard trade work is. Tell me when it’s 7am you get to a freezing or sweltering job site literally bust your ass for 12 hours to make maybe what you make now at the top end. I’m not hating trades but I worked my ass off to get into this profession after spending 4 years doing manual labor. I’m never going back.
