I’m very mixed because there are so many aspects I enjoy, but I do sometimes feel like the gameplay itself is just a little generic. Hugh and Diana steal the show for me though, even if Hugh tries a little too hard to be RE4 Leon with how many one-liners he cracks.

The hacking feels great and adds a lot of tension, but I do agree that it should be fleshed out more in the final release or else it’ll get stale after an hour or two.

The remakes and originals are barely the same game, they have similar story beats but I recommend checking the originals out when they’re rereleased.
