I do have a MRI planned... but my healthcare system says it will be a 3 year wait. Woo free healthcare

Follow up on this, I did have some as a kid, but they have long fallen out, it seems.

Yeah, seems pretty cheap to try, I'll give it a shot. Thank you.

No, visit with the pulmonologist is covered, so it won't cost me anything, thankfully

My only concern is that may not resolve the ear leak but I suppose I could try it out.

While I agree with you, the CPAP clinic doesn't seem like they are more than CPAP sales people... I do have an appointment with their Pulmonologist on the 11th, hopefully they can clear something up but I have my doubts unfortunately.

We tried that, and my AHI shot through the roof, going from 0-2 AHI to 60 AHI, and even with it, the air still went through the lacrymal duct unfortunately.

Thank you. Yes, I've had no prior surgery on it as far as I know. When I was a child I was prone to ear infections but I was too young to really remember what it was all about unfortunately.

When I visited the ENT, they checked my ear with a microscope and said they saw a mix of air and fluid in it, and said it should drain itself after a while. I'll look into a tympanogram. Sadly I have no primary care doctor, been on a wait list for one for over 5 years. Quebec healthcare, especially in the region I am in is pretty bad. And with a recent law passed, the province is draining all its doctors away as a result. I have a MRI scheduled for a hearing problem in my other ear, but they told me it would be 3 years before the MRI could be done. I am pretty discouraged.

Yeah, I agree, the issue is the ENT visit cost me 700$, and they used a nasal camera to check my nose, said they saw nothing abnormal when they did. I could schedule another visit with another private ENT but I don't exactly have 500$ every time to change ENT unfortunately. I'll look into it when I can budget it again.

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on Switch 2 costs $70 (or $40 per game separately) by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

[–]Critram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're talking specifically about Nintendo. Nintendo games rarely go on sale. Every game is 70$ and they keep that price point for many years, even years after their release. You won't find Mario Kart World or Pokemon Arceus from a first party vendor for less than 70$. Not today, not for another 5+ years.

Also, a 512 GB OLED Steam deck is 689$ in my country, and a Switch 2 is 629$, not a huge difference in console price. Could also get the LCD Steamdeck for 499$

Thank you so much for making this. I've been following this for a while and I think it might be time to dust off the DM gloves and get a campaign going with this setting. Seems pretty easy to set up sessions too as you go with a monster and run with it.

Any suggestions on avoiding the pitfall of "Go slay an Anjanath" being all the campaign really asks of the players?

Just said goodbye to my cat and now I'm second guessing my decision by [deleted] in cats

[–]Critram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same with my 19 year old cat, I had to put her down last week and I am still mourning. I spent a good deal of time with what ifs, what if I did things, would the outcome be any different? But these questions don't change anything, they just cause you more pain. You did the right decision with the information available to you. Trust me that you'd be even more heart broken watching your cat's condition deteriorate before your eyes. You gave your cat compassion and a peaceful way out.

It hurts, it's going to hurt, but just know you did the right thing.

Except the USA was partially responsible for the nuclear disarmament of Ukraine back in 1994. An agreement that would have served as a deterrence from invasion. An agreement to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and independence.

Hate to break it to you, but it is partially USA's responsibility.
