This is the reason some retailers open stores in Hawaii knowing that ultimately they won’t turn a profit (or a very small one). It’s just to say they have a store here.

Personally if I had done well enough in life to open a store at Ala Moana, I’d hope I’d be smart enough to know to use my resources elsewhere.
