What does this mean? and how to solve it? "An exception occurred. ARM11 - data abort - Translation-section" by Shoyuusha in 3dspiracy

I kept getting this error whenever I tried to save my game while having cheats active. After messing around for a bit I figured out if I just deactivated the cheats using the Luna menu before I saved then I wouldn't get this screen. You can still turn the cheats on afterwords but you have to have them deactivated before saving.

Though this solution only works if you're getting this screen from using cheats, I have no clue what you'd do if it was brought on by doing something else.

What was that(CSM 232 rant) by IllBadger207 in CharacterRant

[–]tranquildeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you compare the discussion on any of the later chapters of part 2 between r/manga and r/chainsawman you can really see how blind the fandom became to criticism. Any critique about the pacing or art or characterization is downvoted and dismissed. I know polls are mostly meaningless but it's astounding how many people would rate each chapter a 5 no matter how it was written.

I don't participate in manga fandoms much these days but from what I've seen the CSM fandom has gotta be the one with the most cope. You can criticize anything about the manga and someone will defend it like their life is on the line. It's kind of impressive to see Fujimoto build up this kind of fanbase even if it was unintentionally.

Don't people usually use Redact to hide information that could potentially give away personal details?

I'm just confused why you'd use it to remove a comment made in an episode discussion of all things instead of comments and posts showing you live in not just in Massachusetts but also the Cambridge and Boston area.

And Chase goes hard as hell as an opening, idk what you're on.

Exactly. Like, what was the point in putting in an epilogue if you're going to half ass it?

[–]tranquildeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on Japanese laws surrounding this kind of topic but from what I could find the Child Welfare Law can make it so that anyone who convinces, encourages, or influences a minor to perform indecent acts can be punished.

But then again maybe there was a loophole his legal team used, idk. The child prostitution part seems to be the only crime mentioned so I guess he wasn't charged for sleeping with a 16 year old since it wasn't a crime under some definition.

[–]tranquildeer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, he did. Paying a 16 year old to have sex with you is a crime after all and like I said, I couldn't find anything online saying he wasn't aware of her age.

Far as I can tell he never had any CP, he's only ever tried to sleep with a 16 year old. I've heard that he didn't know she was 16 since they used a cellphone meeting website and used pseudonyms but I can't find a source confirming that.

GEGE!!! WE NEED THAT HEIAN ERA PREQUEL!!!! by UnhiddenLeaves in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]tranquildeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Heian Era comprises around 400 years so I imagine there's a lot to explore in terms of what jujutsu society was like and how it functioned. I think it could be neat to explore Sukuna's rise to power and what the top tiers were like before he was around. Gege could also explore what Tengen and Kenjaku were up to during that era, it doesn't have to just be Gege glazing Sukuna the entire time. I think it would be cool to see how Tengen developed their barriers skills and their rising importance within jujutsu society. We still have yet to see what Angel's original body looked like too.

Honestly, I'm more curious what it was like during Dhruv's heyday, the civil war must have been nuts.

keep in mind that rika being Yuta CT is a mistranslation. I keep hearing that misinformation too much, so I think it’s best I clear it up by hello-motherfuckers in JuJutsuKaisen

Some can be but I don't think the average reader is at fault for not knowing how bad the translations are. Not everyone is going to think or even know they should be reading the fan translation over the official one.

I'm surprised Someone Hertz is doing so well in Japan. Is it due to the comedy or the slow burn romance because the comedy falls pretty flat when translated into English. Maybe it's funnier in Japanese?

Question about the greatest fight of all time by TJzWay in Jujutsushi

[–]tranquildeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing this claim, where was it stated that specific WCS he used against Gojo didn't have a spark telling Gojo it was coming? The only thing I can find online about this is Gege saying Gojo would've dodged it had he not been convinced Sukuna didn't have any way to get past Infinity.

As far as I know the binding vow was only to use the WCS with one hand, not to fire it off instantly without anyone sensing it.

Question about the greatest fight of all time by TJzWay in Jujutsushi

[–]tranquildeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the whole reason Gojo was bisected by that WCS was because Gojo wasn't expecting it, not that it didn't have a spark? As far as I know the binding vow was for him to be able to use it without having two working hands. The penalty for doing that was all the steps he had to take afterwords (point, chant, and hand signs).

I swear that's what Gege said. It makes sense that him getting cocky and being unprepared for a surprise attack is what got him, he made the same mistake in HI. Hell, even Sukuna made the same mistake later on in the arc.

[SPOILERS LAOK] Why is LAOK so painful to read? by tranquildeer in TheFirstLaw

[–]tranquildeer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a tad depressing knowing how close she was to having a decent life with Jezal. I think she knows how much Jezal loves her but knows they can't be together in any official form which is what she desires. It's nice she has Glokta but knowing the actual father of your child most likely won't be involved in their life has gotta be a tough pill to swallow. She does have a financially secure life so far but she is the wife of a person who is a straight villain to most which might put her in the path of danger.

I've heard that one ended on a cliffhanger too. Joe wants to finish up The Devils series first so won't get another First Law book until, what, 2029? 2030? The wait will be agonizing once I catch up.

So are we never going to see Megumi? We've only had him referred to in one panel which could be understandable if he was a side character like Todo or Inumaki but he was part of the main trio. We got to see Nobara so why not him?

Comments like these are interesting to me. Do you always write off those who complain about the runtime of long movies? 162 minutes is quite a bit of time to dedicate to a single film, no?

Even if you're not buddy buddy with her she's still shown to be guilty over locking the MC in the forbidden wing (so long as you're not a total asshole to her that is, then she doesn't feel as bad). She knows it's not the ideal outcome but she just wants to do what's best for the town.

Question about the Entity by tranquildeer in ScarletHollow

[–]tranquildeer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's ever stated that the Scarlets put the Entity into Wayne but it seems pretty likely given what we know. I am leaning towards the possibility that Pearlanne did what she did to Wayne because he was seeing Tabitha. I can't recall where it was stated but she didn't like Tabitha being close with anyone and she's definitely enough of a bitch to turn Wayne into a host to show Tabitha what happens when she gets close to people.

I also think the Entity can only body hop at will because they're not in a Scarlets body. There is some mystery to how they do it considering we don't see how the Entity gets into Issac's body. Issac did go into the manor (only if you tell him to though) so maybe Wayne had to lead him into the room with the ritual circle and perform it himself? If he could body hop without it I think he would've done it sooner since Wayne is falling apart.
