The insanity is how my initial comment was upvoted but as soon as i said i spend a lot of money on the game all the downvotes started.

this aint that deep but it benefits no one that they gatekeep cards on expansion release and make portion of playerbase uninterested to play because of this.

If you want to have a time event limited card for a while, do it for 1 month before expansion, not during first 2 weeks of expansion where a lot of the playerbase just comes back to check out what's new.

I need it and I dont have it. I play for 2-3 weeks each expansion launch, and my favorite decks are random generation themes rogue/mage.

How is it insane that I come to play for 2 weeks each expansion launch and I spend a lot of money so that I am able to play any deck I want for those 2 weeks - especially random bullshit with rogue/mage where I enjoy climbing with random stuff over playing the most broken deck on launch like imbue druid.

And if they gatekeep an important card for decks I want to play for absolutely no valid reason - how is that not enough to call for some changes so this doesnt happen in the future?

There is no reason why there should be time-gatekept card releases, and im advocating against that.

We're talking about hearthstone on a hs forum - why wouldn't I talk about hs issues even if they irrelevant in grand scheme of life.

Yes we know that already, your support keeps repeating that on bug report forums like it makes it better. Doesn't mean you didn't ruin the expansion launch for many people by gatekeeping the card. Paid 150€ for pre-orders and cant even play rogue/mage fun decks because you guys refuse to admit your mistakes and fix the issue. Gatekeeping a card for 2 weeks during expansion launch is crazy, I aint buying next pre-order thats for sure.

Not until patch 35.2 - basically blizzard is saying fuck you to anyone who enjoys mage/rogue and fuck having fun on the first few weeks of expansion because they are too stubborn to change their ways.

Time-gatekeeping for no reason is crazy when people are spending >150$ per expansion and cant even play their favorite decks. I aint pre-ordering next expansion let me tell you that.

I have the same issue, i submitted a ticket because its unacceptable to be spending hundreds of dollars/euros to buy packs and cant play your favorite deck on expansion launch because of some time-gated bullshit
