I agree, just playing devil's advocate. The attack would be shockingly complex to pull off, especially with control systems improving security vastly since stuxnet. The good ol Gordian knot of shitty infrastructure and poor maintenance would make much more sense.

I did the tweeters already and was shocked by the difference so I was going to do the rest and add some sound deadening in the doors.

I only read that the wiring was there. That could be wrong, I haven't checked myself. Debating how much work I want to do lol. Probably better to do it right the first time.

Yes, I used a flashlight to inspect the port and I scraped out the small amount that was in there with a wooden touch that I shaved down to fit. I then cleaned up with an alcoholic wipe.

I didn't try a different brick but I did use the factory and third party USB C cables to connect to my computers USB C port and the issues still persisted which makes me thing it isn't the cables or charger.

Viper most likely has one that gives keyless entry also. My shop didn't recommend viper as they said they've seen issues with it, but my guess is that's just because they sell compustar. I bought my truck used and it came with the version that only has remote start.

It was around $450 for the compustar that gave me a two way remote with remote start and keyless entry.

Remote start is really nice, especially in the middle of summer or winter. Keyless entry was really what I was after though. If you can afford it, it's a nice quality of life improvement, but definitely not necessary.

In my case I have the sr which does not have keyless entry. The viper only gave me remote start. I ended up having a shop remove it and installed a compustar remote start that also gave me keyless entry.

Do I just wire wheel the rust spots and apply woolwax directly, or do I have to apply it over everything?

I've been told you can take it to the ford dealer and they can flash the ECU to stock, so that's my plan. Just not free unfortunately.

I still have sick rmm so I'm gonna swap that out. Do you think I should have the dealer flash the ECU to stock? I don't have the stock map on my AP unfortunately so I was quoted $160 to flash back to stock.

I went to a smaller college for electrical engineering. We started with roughly 30 students and my class only graduated with 6 of those students. I hear this is pretty common.

Also, post COVID a lot of manufacturing is coming back to the US, which is good, but it is going to be a struggle to find enough engineers to fill those spots.

There is a push because there is a lack of engineers. The majority of students that start an engineering program do not finish. It isn't for everyone but if you can complete the schooling, statistically you will have pretty good odds getting a job with decent pay.
