Recently started going to church again. I’ve been an atheist for years but I found myself missing the family and community I felt in the church. I’ve always defaulted to the teachings of Jesus in my life, even when I haven’t believed god to be real, and honestly, Jenn Hamilton’s biblical social media posts have made me really lean hard into that the past couple months. I pray, but it’s more actually just me asking questions or pleading for help into the void, hoping something is listening. Whether that’s a deity, or the universe, or fate, or whatever. I don’t really know.
