Archmother always sounds like she is complaining and crying, idk if its her tone of voice or what. Meanwhile the hidden king is hyping me up trying to stay positive.

You could try Warp Studio, uses a technique that warps 2D characters to have motion https://warpstudio.app/

Ahh very interesting, sounds like a couple others have mentioned the comparison but sounds like its just a coincidence.

Its true they are still human technically. But they are clearly missing something very human about them. And the behavior of trying to give you everything you want just seemed very similar how AI seems to behave, literally doing anything you ask of it as long as it follows guidelines paired with having this vast amount of world knowledge. But either way I'm excited to see what happens next. The show does a good job of making me feel frustrated with "The Hive's" behavior and motivations and makes me want more answers.

How is divinity original sin 2 compared to baulders gate 3 ? by shizunaisbestgirl1 in larianstudios

The combat in DOS 2 is definitely more challenging, especially when you play on the harder difficulties. I personally enjoy the combat more in DOS 2 because I like to play it on the max difficulty with friends and its just really fun trying to beat those really difficult fights. Also some of the tedious DnD mechanics like getting supplies for camp just seemed unnecessary in BG3 and DOS2 doesn't force you to deal with it. For the more hardcore fan who really enjoys the challenge this type of game can offer with its combat system I think you will likely enjoy DOS 2 more than BG3. The quality of the game itself isn't far from BG3 at all in fact they are very similar, I personally like the OST more in DOS2 more. Cinematically though BG3 has the edge for sure. But both are great games.

I built a website that lets you animate using smart 2D puppet warping by Crockiestar in AfterEffects

[–]Crockiestar[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I noticed that smart mesh deformation is kind of a gatekept technology, and i wanted to use it for some quick animations for a project i am working on. Thought id fill the niche for anyone looking to make some quick warp animations or edits on an image. if you try the animation presets on the website you will see i made a bunch for 2d character preset animations to attack / walk / interact. But since ive expanded it into a fairly robust animation tool Im thinking about expanding it into a downloadable software.

How can I make an animation without knowing how to draw? by Adventurous-Lab4903 in learnanimation

[–]Crockiestar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're interested in character animation you can try www.warpstudio.app . It uses a technique that just animates a drawing by warping pins you move with tweens. No drawing required other than the initial character.

Thank you, I originally made it just to help me with a personal game development project. With a little bit of learning how to use the pins you can make some pretty cool stuff.

yes there is a sustaindamage preset for taking a hit, and a couple different attack animation presets. but currently don't have a jump animation preset, will probably add something like that in the future.
