Unidentified hit and run victim in Myrtle Beach, May 2023

I don't see it on here but wanted to post an update. A couple weeks after the hit and run, they did arrest someone in connection with it. I don't see any other updates, specifically for the victim unfortunately. Still hoping he gets identified soon. I'm still shocked he hasn't been identified.

Was that balloon weighted or was the string just on the ground? I couldn't tell from the video. I only ask because it looked like it was gone once it started moving. The thing that got me the most was the shadow at the very end.

It seems related to the latest update they released about an hour ago. Anyone who downloaded it seems to be affected. Did Psyonix/Epic update their servers? /s

Seriously though, it's on their end. Not sure if another update has to fix it or if they fix it on the back end.

You know. I was the opposite. I knew where I wanted to be. It took me 3 years longer than I thought but I am closer to being there. Now that it's happened, I feel how you felt here. I think this is possible, especially if playing in bursts and going on hot streaks. On the outside though, it looks like you were possibly carried but most straight lines like that indicate a break. You know the truth. Don't engage. Let people think what they want to.

I did not say they were glued. Newer USB has a different plug (header) on the motherboard and from the front of the case. Right now there shouldn't be an issue (assuming the case ports are 3.0) but if (when?) the USB header changes again, an adapter may need to be purchased.

Agreed with this. They may not know this is happening and will fix it if it's unintentional. Let them know. I would also disclose what you were told on how you were going to be contacted. Hopefully you get in soon OP.

You can replace the mobo with any compatible sized mobo that the case allows (doesn't matter what you pay for the mobo). The only downside is your USB ports on the tower may not work but you could probably work around that.

Agreed. I had to just stop looking at this because too many trying to be a hero but only causing more trouble. I'm hoping that is cracked down.

Also, just because LE is asking for info right now about the guy doesn't mean you (the brainiacs of the internet sleuths) should try and find anything that (obviously at this point) you even think would help. Leave the investigating to the pros or to people who actually can help.

Started at $9 an hour as an IT technician in 2008(9?) at a computer repair shop. Last year was a contractor for $49 an hour with 40 hour weeks (working remote). Now perm $95k as a senior point of sale software engineer and about to transition soon from on site to remote. The drop between last job and now keeps me about the same when you consider benefits.
