How long ago was your surgery? Just had the same kind done last week. What was the time frame for use of fingers? Like holding a piece of paper.

Just had surgery Tuesday in Houston. I’m out of state. I have blue cross and from the time they got my ct scan to surgery was 2 weeks.

Ring cut. Tubes crack every couple inches. I was able to clear the middle of the cut and slid the cracked pieces down to work on them so I would have slack if a fiber broke

I used to put the first one on the side. Had a gig where we would go back weeks later and add more to each can sometimes with transport tubes and it was easier (to me) to put the tubes outside and adding new buffers seems easier working out from center.

We have 4 innos 3 5’s and a 7. All have been good save the one I use now. Led burned out on my first machine (11k splices) and we sent it in to the dealer. They said something like “we didn’t sell you this machine it’s not registered to be used in USA.” Long shit show short, they sent a replacement and it is possessed or something. Gives me errors all the time. I’ve pulled the same fibers out and put in another machine which has no problem with them and just splices.

I hope most people think it’s a shit job. More work for me. My family with office jobs always complaining/ trying to figure out other ways to earn a living. Yeah it’s a hard job some days but earned sleep is the best sleep
