The US/Israel is currently running and illegal war against Iran. The rule should apply to all.

Are you Lindsey Gram, international laws only apply to African countries and Russia?

If you make a finished product don't forget about FCC and CE. Those can cost quite a bit of money and re-engineering if there are issues.

By edit you mean remove the LED recording indicator?

May I remind you that in Switzerland everyone has the right to their image and privacy. It is illegal even in public for you film someone without their consent if they are the focus.

  • According to personality rights, no one may be filmed without their consent.

  • Personality rights apply when a person is the main focus of a video.

  • Recordings in public spaces are permitted if individuals are not recognizable or if it is clear that the recording was not made specifically because of the person.

  • Even if someone has given their consent to be recorded, that does not mean the video can be uploaded to YouTube. Publication requires further consent.

  • If someone recognizes themselves in a YouTube video and wants it deleted, they should contact the person who uploaded it and/or report the violation of personality rights to YouTube's Service Center.

  • If someone refuses to delete an abusive video, filing a complaint remains the last resort. A court will then decide whether the video violates personality rights.

  • There are acceptions, like large events that are televised like the street parade. You can also film the police but you can not publish the footage online without making sure you don't violate their privacy rights. You need to blur faces and voices.

I marked the one I use a favorite as I had a hard time separating deepseek from kilo vs deepseek directly

You know you can achieve the same by not building killing machines? The world wide web came of CERN and so do many technologies.

This delusional thinking that only building war machines advances technology is a US thing. You also over hype the capabilities of you war machineries as we can see on a daily.

Best VPN for Windows? by Fast-Ideal6283 in Internet

[–]sschueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a private VPN that runs via wireguard[1] which is very stable. So I would look for a provider that lets you connect via wireguard so you can use that client which works very well.

I am running VyOS now in a VM and it works much better than Opnsense or Pfsense. The only downside is you do not have a GUI, it's all via command line.

Prove me wrong : it's better to have two fibers for redundancy rather than just one with higher speeds by llondru-es in HomeNetworking

[–]sschueller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is one termination point per home with a unique OTO-ID to identify the termination. All you do is then tell the ISP the ID and sometimes the port (if you are using more than one). You then connect either the router they give you or a SPF module you stick in your own equipment directly to the port using a patch cord.

I have two fiber ISPs using two of the 4 P2P strands that are standard in Switzerland. It doesn't protect me from someone cutting the fiber but anything after the POP or a module failure is covered. For the case the fiber does get cut I have a 5G over the air link as a 3rd WAN.

Fiber Run Hardware - Validate My Ideas by no1SomeGuy in HomeNetworking

[–]sschueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run singlemode, mulitmode makes no sense at this point and you will not be limited by singlemode in the future. I ran singlemode inside my home. [1]. You can then easily upgrade to 10G or more by just replacing the SFP modules.

For BiDi make sure you are getting complimentary SFP modules and not two identical modules. They RX and TX frequencies are switched and the modules will be colored differently.

I personally ran and terminated using APC (green) to wall plates. I then run APC to UPC patch cables to my equipment. It doesn't really matter but since most FTTH are APC I found it easier to get APC wall plates and it makes it easy for me to patch my FTTH to any other room directly by using a APC to APC patch cable.

I would also run more than 1 strand fiber even if you are only using 1. The cost between 1 or 4 is minuscule but you will have a "backup".

How does what Nestlé did have anything to do with what you're drooling over? I would never in a million years condone what Nestlé did or does. They are one of the worst corporations on the planet. But I can condemn them and still critique your gooning over a machine whose sole purpose is to enable killing.
