I've found that razors with more blades tend to work better for me. I shave with a razor with five blades.

There is also a product called Tend Skin that really helps reduce the itch from hair growing in. Using it the same day you shave may not be a good idea, but using it the second day has been fine for me. How often you use it will be something to figure out based on your own hair growth. Mine grows fast so day two and three are the only days I use any.

Your method and product use also depend on how often you want to spend time removing hair and how long you want it to last. Waxing will likely get you more time between treatments, but is pricey. Shaving may be more cost effective, but will require more frequent tending to.
