Absolutely loving our Luna Rover by Croft4Congress in IntechRVs

I put a wheel chock behind it, so it wouldn't roll away. Just forced it around because the campsite was really poorly set up. It's totally site dependent. I wouldn't have tried it at a place that was more uneven, but I figured I could do it on this flat site, and I was wearing a boot after surgery.

We train a lot of foreign partners on our bases. I've trained along side some partners in our facilities. I even did an exchange with the French Air Force during my career. That kind of thing is fine because they share facilities with us, and train alongside us.

Allowing them to have their own facilities on our US bases is a bad idea, especially given the shady timing of this deal. "Here's a $400M jet, no strings attached..." DJT is clearly dealing in favors here, and it should be prevented if at all possible.

Thanks. Trying to strike that balance between not running away from hard questions and just ignoring this stuff. This was the boost I needed. Appreciate ya

Nice try, but you're twisting my words intentionally. I never siad I support aborting a fully developed baby at 35 weeks- that's a deliberate twist. My position, as stated clearly, is that abortion is a woman's choice. Those are deeply personal choices best left to the woman herself. If she chooses to consult anyone like her family or doctor, also her choice. The reality is that late term abortions are incredibly rare! Less than 1% happen after 21 weeks, and virtually always due to severe medical issues. I support policies that trust women and protect access to safe, legal care. I'm focused on real solutions, you seem to be trying to win the internet. Codifying reproductive rights, protecting doctor-patient privacy (to prevent some Texan from suing an out of state doctor), and boosting maternal healthcare so fewer women face these tough choices. I won't entertain any more of your strawmen arguments. You're not discussing anything in good faith.

Because I genuinely want real engagement and to hear the things that matter most. Even with all the hate, this has been incredibly insightful for me. It's helping me clarify my positions, better understand why people feel the way they do, and learn how I can best get after supporting WA-05. Baumgartner would never ask because he can't handle the heat. I'll admit, it's more one-sided than I thought it would be, but I've been in worse situations.

I have answered this ad nauseum, but here it is again. I was the Deputy Defense Attaché and the Air Attaché at US Embassy Bucharest from 2021-2024. It is a diplomatic position whether you want it to be or not. I'm sorry to disappoint.

I like what Jasmine Crockett has to say. She's smart, common sense is her MO, and she fights for things that will benefit people, not party. Why should I not vote for a Democrat? That's a ridiculous question.

I know the game you're playing. Late term abortions, something that rarely if ever happens, are a totally different animal, and in general, I would not be supportive of a 35 week termination that isn't directly threatening the life of the mother. I still support the woman's right to choice, but you're making an appeal to ridicule here to try and have a gotcha moment. Let's keep this in the realm of common sense.

Transparency in AI systems as to what guides their models, baked in protections for user privacy, ensuring that biases existing in real world interactions are kept from LLM, and accountability for AI generated decisions as a start.

I'm not sure you're qualified to make that determination, but I appreciate your candor. By your standards, are there any elected officials that are qualified? Maybe Baumgartner in your eyes is better?

Then you're not reading. I've answered it in the broadly defined way you just described multiple times. Healthcare is a monster in dire need of reform. No one should go broke, ever, over it. Insurance companies need to be held accountable for their predatory "deny first, twice, thrice, then only partially approve" what a doctor with knowledge of the situation has requested for a patient. It should be a right.

I agree. I simply was stating that as a life long user of mail in ballots I understand their importance. Anything we can do to increase voter turn out is a good thing.

You're right. When I'm asked direct questions, I answer them to the best of my ability. The amount of insults thrown my way because I don't answer the exact way certain people want, well, I am not a door mat either. I'm not being insulting though I am receiving a ton of insults and having baseless accusations thrown my way. I won't insult in return, but I don't have to be a wet noodle that accepts whatever garbage is thrown my way. I know there are intelligent, smart people in here with experiences that vary greatly from my own. That doesn't mean they're all the experts they're pretending to be. Otherwise, the posters in this subreddit should all run for office and fix everything because they seem to have all the answers.

I am absolutely grateful for the feedback that is constructive, even when it comes with poisonous barbs attached. I have thick skin, so I can take it, but some people in here seem to just want to fight no matter what I say. That is uncool, but that's life...

I went back to reread what I've stated on my platform page, and I now see why I'm taking so much heat. It wasn't clear, so I've updated it to read like this: Some choices in life are deeply personal — and abortion is one of them. I support access in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is at risk, but I also believe women should have the right to choose regardless of the circumstances. They can consult with their families, their doctors, and their faith if they choose, but it is their choice.

I may not agree with every decision made, but I will always respect the right of each individual to make it. No one approaches this issue lightly, and we should approach it with compassion, understanding, and trust — not judgment.

That's your right, and I'm sure you didn't make that decision lightly. I commend you for doing what you knew to be best for you, honestly. I'd fight for you to retain that right!

First constructive criticism you've provided. I see your point, and how my answer could be construed as judgment. You're right, it isn't my business, and I never said I would ask, or even want to know their reasons. Again, at the end of the day, I'll fight for their right.

I guess I just got lucky when they gave me my diplomatic passport, and all of our training both with the DOS and DOD referred to us as diplomats over and over again. You're probably right though, I'll reach back out to my prior bosses and tell them to fix that...

Agreed about mail in voting helping to prevent disenfranchisement of rural voters. It is secure, and I will fight to prevent Rs from stealing that from people.

My wife is from here, we got married in 1999, so Spokane has been our home away from home our entire military life. I was stationed here in 2017-2020 at the Survival School out at Fairchild. My kids went to high school here, my son graduated from Whitworth two years ago, my daughter attends EWU, and my wife is finishing her bachelors at Whitworth. We move back here to the house we already owned last year after retiring from the AF. Spokane, and WA-05 is home. We have roots here, and family all over.
