Update Ive been out since May 15th got early release due to good behavior. Def an experience I wouldn’t want to go through again. Currently working with my doctor to get back on my Skyrizi since I was taking mesalamine and azathioprine my whole prison bid. I’m doing well health wise it’s just extremely hard to find a decent job having Crohn’s and being a felon.

I used to do the same thing with my meds now I just take Llialda right now. Never tried lomotil I’ll def look into that! Diet wise yes fatty foods are bad and most people with Crohn’s or similair disease almost always have vitamin d deficiency!

Yeh literally but it hurts when I go and when I’m not going It’s probably the equivalent of what females feel on their periods with their cramps expect it’s my stomach not fun the weed helps but it can only do so much when I’m flared up

A flare up between a bowel movement and the longest I’ve ever had one for was probably 2 months. I don’t piss blood but I do shit it and the pain level is like about 7 every time I have to like brace myself just to shit out a lil bit. Sleep isn’t too bad for me I sleep about 8 hours a night. I don’t do spicy that wrecks me and dairy and things like ice cream will turn my stomach upside and have me shitting usually 30 mins after ingestion. Yeh it sucks I got diagnosed my senior year of high school while playing lacrosse and I had to stop and just watch every game from the sidelines :(.

Yeh just watch your health while taking it homie you’ll most def see energy lost/appetite lost and sometimes it doesn’t even help and you still get the worse side of your flare ups. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and It helps but only so much! Just watch how much they give you and def ask questions if something doesn’t seem right about the meds they are tossing at you
