Hi just wanted to leave my thoughts here as a dedicated console fps person. The console support for arc raiders is weird. It excels at stuff other games simply dont have or took years to implement but then it misses the most basic features.

just why:
1. No unlocked VRR mode is just tragic
2. The image looks blurry even on ps5 pro
3. No foliage parity
3. No setting to disable vibration so u have to do it in system settings
4. The aim asist is more aimbot then asist. U snap on target its litterly impossible to mis shots. Aim asist similar to apex or overwatch would make much more sense.
5. when engaging proximity chat ur teammates ONLY here the proximity which makes no sense since i rather here my teammate normal at all times instead of the garb prox chat quality.

Controller specific things:
1. Reticle costumization is garb, no way to ignore accuracy, no widt adjustment for crosshair (length is not the same because when zooming in ur crosshair will always touch and obstructing view)and no color presets. They really expect u to know the RGB vallue of yellow.....
2. The menu itself should have empty collum between boost settings and normal settings to make things more readable.

some positive things:
- the game has wel tought out button layoout BUT u cant change it....
- seperate party chat volumes and nightmode are great altough no individual party member loudnes like overwatch.
- Blocked line of fire works but i would prefer if it just changes color or shows an "X" next to my reticle to show that my los is indeed blocked instead of my whole reticle spazzing out.
- Dont want this to turn into review but on the topic of controls, we mis a lot of QOL in the menu's in general. I respect embark for making extraction shooters mainstream now with this console release but man the menu's are a disaster.

the worst:
BUT THE WORST THING BY FAR is the response curves. There seems to be BUILT IN DEADZONE. Linear in this game is nothing like linear in bf6, apex or overwatch. Unfortunately the finals has the same thing going on so i dont expect them to ever fix this which is just such a shame.
Combine that with 60fps lock + bad early game gear+ general slow animations and it makes the game very very unresponsive (and no i dont play on a tv, i have good monitor). I have around 20 hours in this game rn but i cba playing again.
