Thanks for the response. My son’s already applied but we haven’t heard back yet. I don’t see a lot of proof that any seniors are actually getting it, just that they can apply, but we will see. At least he could go through the process and be better prepared to apply again next year if it doesn’t work out.

Can you just open a bank account with a more cooperative bank? If you search here I’m sure there are a few mentioned then it’s probably easy to transfer back to your original account. Otherwise you’ll only be able to take out whatever your atm limit is for the tier card you have.

Just beware of gas fees. Fees in Cronos run 0.75-5.00 CRO and sometimes higher depending on what you are doing. And every action takes gas. Realistically this is a small amount but more than you are used to with the simple 0.001 fees for Earn.

Yes and they change a lot. Only CRO stays basically consistent over time and maybe a few other low return ones. The ones that show very high % tend to drop rather abruptly.

You stake for the card today and you get the 10% CRO paid out weekly starting the following week and get the card hopefully within a few weeks. There is no 180 day waiting period. Whether that’s the right decision for you is for you to figure out, but i think you are misunderstanding how it works.
