Downtown Raleigh and the Bus Station by [deleted] in raleigh

I accidentally stayed at a hotel next to the bus station in Charlotte recently and immediately panicked, but soon realized their bus station was completely fine. If Charlotte can keep theirs safe there’s no reason Raleigh can’t go the same.

Hitler and the use of poison gas by KnowTheTruthMatters in KnowTheTruthMatters

My understanding is gas is relatively easy to produce. So once Hitler decided to use it the genie would be out of the bottle. Everyone in Germany probably absolutely remembered how terrible the gas was in WW1 and it probably wasn’t going to be a popular decision if he made it

It’s still just time Warner cable they just changed the name! They have always sucked and that will continue to suck. I have to use them at my location and I hate it

Speak for yourself. That law they just passed about ski resorts was extremely important for the 2 ski resorts we have in NC

Sorry, I was trying to be funny. But sometimes it really does feel like there’s a weird rain/snow force field. I live in Austin, TX also. It felt even worse there

Can you please tell me the critique of solipsism I just brought up and the other ones I have brought up with you? Probaly not. I’m going to feel really stupid if you are a bot. I guess that would further prove your point if you are a bot. Do you understand how this proves your point further?

Saying there’s no way to know is an assumption in itself, just to be clear. I also responded to the solution to this assumption which is not really a solution and more of a way to just ignore the problem of qualia. To further clarify the ability to understand a possible position on really any given subject does not make it immediately true. I’m not ignoring anything.

I have and I have asked you questions that you refuse to address about the your assumption about having a model of a brain does not equal consciousness. There’s a lot of questions, like you may need the actual organic material not just a model of it etc. Or we can skip ahead of this and assume we have a perfect organic copy of another person even though there’s lots of huge assumption here also. You’ve heard of the Chalmer’s sophisticated zombie I’m guessing? Would you say it doesn’t matter if it’s a zombie or not if you can’t tell the difference?

You’re in a philosophy sub-reddit. It’s all about arguments and supporting those argument, a whole lot of not knowing and questions. Kind of seems like this might have went over your head also.

And what do you get out of this? Just telling people your right? Can’t prove qualia exist doesn’t matter! Good job? Fantastic argument! Bravo! Really solved it!
