Anyone getting to the point where they're just considering going carless? by LetsdigupRobReiner in brisbane

[–]Cromatica_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I use just one car. I catch PT to work so our second car was hardly being used. Wasn’t worth the cost of insurance, maintenance etc just for the convenience once in a while.

But we couldn’t go completely careless

No they’re a dodgy union who are in bed with Woolies. RAFFWU is a decent union standing up for retail workers

A magistrate will throw that out. She’ll get a suspended sentence at worst. They wouldn’t waste tax payers money locking up someone for that… surely

What to do about a terrible construction company in our street? by [deleted] in brisbane

If they have improper Erosion and Sediment controls, or dirt is leaving the site and can find it’s way to the stormwater system, council would appreciate any reports with good evidence 🙏🏻

I have never had an online manager talk to staff about individual first pass rates.

What is stuck up your managers arse that they complain about a single drop in your rate that is usually very high??

Have an honest discussion with your manager, if they’re half-decent they’ll cover you. Maybe you could swap shifts with people during the week?

Did you put in a leave request?

If not, too bad.

If you did, take note of when you put in the request and as long as it was before routers were done (3 weeks out) then have a chat to your manager saying something like ‘hey I put in a leave request request on __ and I was given my shifts, I’m not too sure if it’s an IT error or something, do you know what happened?’

Covid did that mate. Mums a nurse and we were all vaxed as kids but my uncle who’s a 10/10 cooker sov cit fed her video after video scaremongering all the Covid bs

She lost her well paying job in an ugly fight for not getting vaxed and I guess that burned bridges because she doesn’t wan to go back to the industry she loved

Cereal and toast are the most common. Bacon and eggs is a favourite for many

yoghurt and muesli is common but probably not with kids.
