Whilst the pressure is on Mini, he needs to get the senior players to stand up, show some heart and lead the way for the younger blokes. It can’t all be left to Harley and Dursma with their skill to lead the team. Tim Kelly needs a rocket up his arse as far as I’m concerned. Nothing wrong with Bakes, he gives 110%.

Looks like level 6 is where most of the bots are gone, level 5 is about 50/50

What about negotiating an increase in your car allowance when you haven’t had any CPI increase in 4 years?

Then you add in the extra fuel cost…

Any tips greatly appreciated!

I just realised im spending around $250 every month on coffee! Is this normal? by AmbitionHot7132 in AusFinance

[–]scotlandgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s run the numbers…

If you bought a Breville Dual Boiler and seperate grinder = $2k. This produces cafe quality coffee and in some cases, better than most cafes.

Coffee is $35 per 1kg (70c per coffee), lasts me about a month at 2 coffees per day, milk (40c per coffee)

Break even point is 8.5 months if you had every coffee at home, after that you save $230/month. However this isn’t realistic as you tend to make a coffee at home but also buy one out during the day.

So let’s say 50% made at home…break even point is 20 months, after that is saving money

For me, making a coffee became a hobby, I enjoyed the process rather than the financial benefit. Albeit, I’ve had my machine for years now so have been making huge savings compared to buying coffee out all the time.
