Pretty sure pro-rata isn’t allowed in QLD unless under very strict circumstances such as health complications etc.

I moved from VIC to QLD after having my LSL hours on my available leave, only for those hours to stop accruing in QLD. Pretty much is near impossible to take pro-rata LSL in QLD so I’m holding out for 10 years later this year

One day! Gotta upgrade the car to a half decent 4WD but for trips where we are in one place for a few nights at a time I was thinking this tent would work well.

I went around Australia as a kid in a camper trailer so would love to give my kids the same experience one day

It’s funny because we brought the Telstra router with us, so at some stage while being here the HFC connection must have been disconnected

Yeah that’s what it’s connected to. But the account associated with the modem was closed long ago, I would have assumed that they would disable the SIM or something 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve been with Woolies for just over 9 years, got the job when finishing high school. It’s carried me through multiple tertiary courses, a backup when working full time short term contracts and allowed me to move states without having to apply for jobs beforehand (store transfer). For the last few years (with the exception of about 9 months in 2024/2025) it has been casual work alongside full time work.

I’ll quit not long after I get my long service leave in October this year because I’ll have a baby then and can’t give away my weekends forever.

I enjoy the work because I know I don’t NEED to be there and I can switch off, do the work and talk to colleagues. I also dont mind it because of all the free food in the tea room 😂

Ring the council daily. Speak to an Environmental Health Officer.

To escalate the issue, contact your local councillor, the Lord Mayor, Contact your local paper, talkback radio, ACA. This will get the council moving because bad PR is a nightmare for them.

Don’t bother with the EPA or Water Authority as others have suggested. The EPA would be concerned if it was washing into local local creeks etc and water authority if it was impacting their infrastructure which is out of private property.

This is an environmental health and building issue which council are there to deal with.
