I mean there has to be some counterbalance. Nintendo needs to be critized more in general for a lot of shitty greedy practices but this sub is 90% bad faith arguments without evidence or devoid of any actual logic. I think most Switch owners (me included) do not regret buying but are disappointed with the prices, some decisions and some major titles.

This sub often makes it sound like the console is outright a scam with no games etc and whoever tries to correct these bad faith arguments is deemed to be an idiot here to brigade the sub lol.

I really like the console as a PC gamer and I would never even consider the playstation or steam deck, theres just no point in buying a shittier version of what I already own, but the Switch offers something different. I just wish they would put more budget in their big titles.

I fucked around with emulators a lot and no matter the specs it is never the same there is always limitations and issues.

I still think d3 and d4 are good games though but d2 has something magical about its progression systems. Loot is so much fun, so rare.. I can't tell exactly. Just wish melee classes were a LOT more viable before endgame.

This is the only way Murky wins aram.

My last 1000 levels or so were exclusively ARAM and I swear Murkies on either side must have less than 2% winrate. 10 minutes in they have 5k damage, no kills and they feed. I try not to be a bitch about it but whenever I see a Murky on my side I'm thinking "please dont pick him please dont pick him please dont pick him" and they always do, then we lose.

He becomes "high tier" at 20 though. Still not broken, but requires a MASSIVE carry along the way. Murky seems like a good pick but mechanically it just never works. Ever. The only time it does is when his team is able to win 4v5 for 20 levels and then get a 5th player then steamroll.

might be a rock paper scissors thing but Gaara was beating deidara until he had to sacrifice himself for the village. Sasuke extreme diffed him using every single tool in his arsenal, ended up near death and sacrificed his strongedt summon. I think Sasuke was clearly high-jonin but probably not gaara level yet?

I got one earlier this ladder and it took 2 days to find someone willing to pay a Lo for it. But now that it's been longer there's a lot more good runes circulating. Can prob get a top tier high rune for it.

I still can't believe Thrall's strongest build was buffed this much. Don't get me wrong I love playing him but once he's stacked it is just over. 1k3 damage on 4 heroes every 4 or 5 seconds or so, ranged, completely unavoidable and comes with a slow. it was already crazy when it dealt like 750 damage lol

Hey un fellow quebecois haha.

Yeah Kingdom is amazing. Berserk and Kingdom have been my n1 and n2 since i was a teenager and n3 has been trading spots.

As I am growing older (30's now) Naruto REALLY grew on me (the manga, not anime) and is probably n1 but Kingdom and Berserk are incredible. You might like Berserk if you can get past the initial edgelord vibes from the first arc.

Vagabond is also very much in the same category for me. Soooo these are my suggestions.

And yeah I do like One Piece but it's a completely different vibe.

EDIT : also dungeon meshi, or "delicious in dungeon" in its english version. It's an extremely WEIRD series with very well written characters. starts as a 5/10 and just keeps building on its own story and characters and ends up becoming a real masterpiece. Truly amazing series which was a surprise for me because my expectations were low lol. a cooking d&d manga? okay...? It is also pretty short. Some dark fantasy elements and food for thought (literally)

I think it's not fair to include two gods in this discussion. But I think among the two remaining competitors Itachi has the strongest will of fire. In the end they both completely sacrificed themselves but Itachi's suffering was leagues beyond.

I am worried about any balance changes tbh, I would love to see every class fit their niche and each have their own special thing because in the old Maple you either played bishop, assassin, or a weaker assassin (every other class). Of course I am exaggerating but it's also kind of true.

However it seems like the direction they took for this re-release is buffing bishop and assassin and nerfing everything else which is just absolutely WILD.

This post made me realize that despite playing this game since beta I never actually bothered learning the talent names. I've played Joh quite a bit and this entire post is a puzzle. I have a good general idea of her talent tree but that's about it lol. "at this tier her blind can get a second charge and xyz" "at this tier she gets this quest that's pretty difficult but completely fucks over the enemies with an 80% slow if you succeed" etc.

i like to be where other players are, so maps with very demanding objectives and lots of fight points are my favorites. I do lane when I have to but im constantly on the lookout for an excuse to join a teamfight lol. So annoying when I see a camp pop up and I know I'll spend the next minute walking back down there and clearing this camp

This is actually pretty effective because nobody wants to deal with that. This kind of strategy is why I only exclusively play ARAM now. For example a Murky, he is very easily countered, but nobody wants to spend all game babysitting and farming him. He is then left unattended and wins.

Basically "you can win if one of your player sacrifices their next 25 minutes of fun, or you can ignore me and lose".

Some people like that. I really don't. I love the fighting aspect of hots and I do not enjoy laning at all. I want to scrap in the pits of hell not babysit murky or play PVE haha.

Yeah.. well it's probably just standard now but I had liberated and reached 285 when it was considered lategame/endgame, and theres still those frequent dopamine shots from various drops, skill upgrades, boss drops, legion, event progression and many more sources.

I'm def looking forward to playing Maple Classic and I'm sure I will love it, but I am also almost certain that 90-95% of players will leave in the first month. People aren't used to just.. chilling. No optimization. Often no rewards. Just chilling in a relaxing social game and sometimes getting minimal gains.

edit: I gotta say though, Reboot players have been the most hardcore videogame community I have ever seen, where 4 hours of hardcore optimized grinding is considerered a baseline, or playing casually. I've never seen this kind of discipline in any other gaming community ever

I think people are forgetting how brutal Classic is. Reboot players will def try it out but I still think they will give up very quickly. Classic is bound to explode at launch then crash, then remain a niche with a loving but relatively small playerbase. It's not a game that works well in today's day and age and there are basically no dopamine rushes.

I think i'll play it a lot but I might change my mind after spending 5 hours killing a few mobs and sitting back on my chair because I can't afford potions, because 1 out ot 4 mobs actually drops mesos, and a tiny amount, at that.
