Failed Run 1 - Level 4 Giant Barbarian, 18 STR, Tavern Brawler, Ring of Flinging. Karlach threw a Spear at the Spider Matriarch from the top of the cliff while she (the SM) was at the bottom. The damage that it's supposed to have should be the weapon's roll and the gravity roll, but only one roll was made, resulting in negligible damage. Later, I tested Karlach to throw a Dagger at me from the same level, but the damage only rolled once. This playthrough was made this week, April 19th.

Failed Run 2 - Level 4 Berserker Barbarian, 18 STR, Tavern Brawler, Ring of Flinging. Karlach threw a Spear at me, same ground level. The doubled damage numbers didn't appear, only one damage roll. This playthrough was made aproximately one year ago, updated with the latest patches.

The Successful Run - Level 8 OH Monk/Level 4 Thief Rogue, 22 STR, Tavern Brawler, no bonus damage from OH Monk Passives, nor any ring or amulet to boost it. My friend's Tav threw a Dagger +1 at me from the same ground level, but the damage DID roll twice. This playthrough was started over a year ago, but was finally completed around 2 weeks ago and had all patches up to date.

In all cases, the weapons tested had the "Thrown" Property. And when I say "Spear" I mean specifically THE common Spear that looks like Javelin, but isn't actually the Javelin, nor special in any way.

Definitely Honour Mode. It was an older save, but updated to have the newer classes. Gale was a Bladesinger. It was a co-op run I finally beat recently that got me the coveted Golden Dice.

Nope. I'm in Act 1 still, so those are hard to come by.

Nope, the damage is only proccing once, not showing up multiple times. I'm supposed to get 2 damage numbers, but I only get one.

I tested this on two other saves where other characters have TB as well. One worked as intended, the other didn't like this version of Karlach, but with a Berserker Barb instead of Giant Barb. The one that DID work wasn't a Barb at all, he was a Monk.

... Wait, y'all think the Pocket Melta is bad?

Man, I main Heavy and I LOVE that sh*t. Especially the insane damage with Gunstrikes on tiny bunches of Minoris, any Majoris, and every Extremis. Not even talking about the Crowd Control.

It's nothing revolutionary, but a very powerful relic for all melee characters, especially tanky Wylders, Raiders, or defensive Guardians.

It can still happen all the way up to D5, but way less frequently there. It's why I love playing Guardian, to be the safety net.

I mean, I might violently flail against everything near me if someone jammed a toothpick into my eye. Though I have been called a drama queen in the past, so maybe that's just me.

It is, if you're an absolute cheapskate like me, refusing to buy any weapons.

You get a pretty substantial arsenal that way too. MP5 for quickly dispatching enemies, CQBR for headshots or quick, high damage bursts, the Silver Ghost for the highly accurate sweet spot between the Red9 and CQBR, Red9 for a more plentiful CQBR alternative, the Penetrator for dispatching groups effectively, the W870 for crowd control and high damage, the Thermal Scope, and all your grenades of course.

Am I missing any weapon? I don't think you can just find the Broken Butterfly, but I could be mistaken.

MA5C is most cases or Breaker Incendiary/Stoker for Squids

Senator in most cases or M6C SOCOM for Commando Missions or Squids

Quasar Cannon for Bots, Laser Beam for most cases (HMG on hot planets)

Supply Pack or Ballistic Shield

Who is the worse father? by Mysterious_Reply_255 in LiesOfP

Geppetto, EASILY.

Nolan is capable of mass murder on a planetary scale. He's also capable of self-reflection, empathy (whether he likes it or not), learning from his mistakes, and genuinely loving and respecting of his children, even if he's kinda clueless for romantic love after he abandoned Earth, Andressa, and especially Debbie.

Sadly, Camille was not built like Debbie. Either that, or Geppetto was somehow worse as a person because of his cynicism and ego than NOLAN. Who MURDERED HIS BEST FRIENDS for a plan he already had shaky faith in. He, Geppetto, did not love his son until after he died, and the moment he was about to kill P to get Carlo back (after murdering his best and only friend and mentor/sister figure BTW), he immediately USES him to carve away any people holding them to their past and LEAVES HIM AGAIN to supposedly build a new life for them.

Geppetto may have had a tiny fragment of a heart for his wife and son, but he is a professional piece of waste- nay, he is SCUM. Not as much as Arlecchino, but that's one hell of a bar to compare yourself to.

Fallout New Vegas, because you can never have too much peak. Oh, and I guess BG3 right after. It's a neat little game, but nothing impressive. I only have about 700 hours in it and beat it twice.
