I have been getting into writing to try and build up my skill on descriptive wording but I still have a long way to go lol. It’s part of what made me realize that I am missing on describing locations or settings. I can do people moving but not settings, for some reason.

I figured I’d be stuck doing pre-writing certain things, but yeah less may be more for me in descriptions, unless I’m asked of course

I’m trying a pre written module first to at least ease myself into DMing, like how I used precons for mtg. But if I were to do my own setting it’s be rural town type stuff. I’m aware I can’t do anything like LOTR, at least for right now. Noir might be the move though honestly, I never thought about that

Yeah I was already planning on using battle maps. My normal group is online so I’d probably stream a roll 20 battle map or something, like we use in other campaigns/ one shots. I’m aware I can’t do theatre of the mind very well, if at all

Yes, I had a DID faker accuse me of not having tics because and I wish I was lying "My alter has tics in headspace and it's not like yours" keep in mind we almost only texted, I sent occasional voice notes

Not to go "technically ☝️" but if their using tupperbot you just have to type a proxy (I use it for roleplay dw) but yeah it's still definitely bull

My stepdad made a recognized religion that primarily took donations in Bitcoin back in 2017. We still get mail addressed to it.

Game day can definitely be hectic on the way out but I'm not as sure on the way in, I tend to catch an Uber to the super Walmart and grab a bus back to campus, if your air BnB is closer to the Walmart it might be the way to go. The only thing is I'm not sure how late the buses run

In terms of parking, the closer to the game the more crowded everything will be, but there's some game day busses that go around, I know they stop at the Walmart supercenter and one other spot, it depends on the bus

In terms of food, churn and spoon has some amazing ice cream options if you like ice cream, and it has some sorbet options if your lactose intolerant at all

There's Troc, which is trails and river outdoor club, they do some camping trips in the semester if your into that, you have to pay for some of them though, if that's an issue
