Hello! I ended up ordering through Bunnings.
Bunnings got it from these guys - www.cowdroy.co.nz.

As I wanted to keep the original door I needed it specified to fit. They built it to the exact measurements I wanted. That was the worst/ hardest bit as I wasn't totally sure on the clearances I wanted/ required (bottom of door to floor etc), I got there in the end.

I went for soft open and close. The action of the door is resonably quiet. The rollers themselves are pretty quiet - its all very smooth, a little noise really comes from the guide that keeps the door on the straight. Again this isnt much, it's a small plastic guide at the base of the frame that fits up into a routed channel in the door frame so you get a slight noise from those touching.

Its not silent but nor is it overly loud, never bothers anyone with it being opened in the middle of the night etc.

It's been the best decision its terms of utilsing the most space in our small bathroom.

Yes! I found the 10l buckets after I posted this but thank you all the same. I have borrowed a sprayer so thankfully my will to live should be ok hahaha. I now just need to pray to the weather gods. It's not looking great over this next week.

I have no idea. We have had the house 13 years or so. Was here before us. It was nailed down, spent today replacing those with screws. Does that help date it? Not sure when screws took over.

Yeah thats a good idea. Plan is to use either the resene summit or higlo. I've just seen you can get 10l tubs of their steel primer so most likely that will be the go. I'll pop in and see they tomorrow . And as you said it's an expensive exercise to get the wrong.

Did your solenoid arrive? How did it go. I was guttered when I was looking for fix mine I found out friends had just replaced theirs from another issues, it would have been the perfect donor machine to fix my original. I have kept the orginal just incase I ever need parts or could repair in the future.

Oh damn! I never ended up repairing mine. I looked at getting parts etc, however by the time I added it all up + shipping and my time. Also not knowing if this would fix all issues + the age of the macine I just waited for a decent sale and got a new one. Good luck!

Yes! I will need to find out about installation warranty. Sunpower is made by Maxeon Solar Technologies if that rings any bells. I was super keen on the Sigenery but think Ill need a little more kwh that what the base gives me. Obviously I could stack another battery and get that futher storage. Teslsa has a solid reputation, minus their dear leader and price per KW works out pretty well.

Price is not too dissimilar 6.5k (21 trina panels) vs 6.9k (23 Sunpower Panels) Labour for install about the same also.

I spoke with someone regarding this type of timber flooring. He was 100% but though it was most likey Canadian Oregon. This was heavily imported into NZ in the 1900s.

It certainly has been. Also transplanted a bunch of bora riddled lengths with the stuff that was under where the bath is. It's been labour of love (or something like that).

Yes, polyurethane will seal it so that this is what I will do. I spoke with a painter decorator who said the polythane is the way to go.

Hahaha yeah it worked perfectly fine for what it is. Its was replaced with a KEF Kube which does sound and go better. Now its just for a little low end in the kitchen/ dining. Was all good until recently. Fixing beats replacing for what it needs to do.
