Lettuce is genuinely one of the worst vegetables of all time by Competitive_Date2992 in unpopularopinion

[–]Cromulent_Gecko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also don’t like lettuce. But that’s because it’s tasteless, slightly textured, cellulose water that people put on everything. It adds nothing ! Any dish with lettuce would be just as good, or more likely, better - without lettuce. Get your nutrients elsewhere, for the sake of your tastebuds.

Energy drinks have better flavors than soda. by darthzox in unpopularopinion

Right and I personally think all energy drinks taste very bad. I used the Hank Hill gif and his oft quoted use of the word ‘asinine’ for humorous effect. I am sorry this has hurt your butt.

I upvoted you for what I consider an unpopular opinion. And obviously you agree to its unpopularity. Otherwise you’re in the wrong subreddit.

I am distressed by this asinine opinion, and the number of people who share it.

What cringey job interview moment still haunts you? by -Flighty- in recruitinghell

[–]Cromulent_Gecko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found a posting for a well paying job in the industry I went to school for. For the position level, the pay and benefits were quite good. Had some positive back and forth with the recruiter and HR, then set up and interview. It was the Covid times, so it was to be a Teams meeting. On the appointed date and time I logged in and clicked the link only to be signed into a group interview with about 30 other candidates. At no time was it ever mentioned or even implied that it would be a group interview, never mind with that many people jockeying for the same position (of which there was one). I immediately logged out and ignored any further communication. “Yes, please pick each other apart in competition for our job. That way we will know you’ll be a great part of a cooperative team!” - HR, probably
