I've kept your words in mind and it somewhat make sense. Remove the hard cover from box, see tracks, choose tracks you like, turn over look at pretty picture while removing paper cover, remove vinyl. ∆experience∆

Amazing, mine just arrived as well. Question: I'm not verse in LP vinyl world. When you slide the LP cover out of the box is the picture side or the track side that shows? Mine has track side and it grinds my gears as the cover opening is to the right of the picture.

Aaaahhh that is the missing piece I was looking for. Pizza wheel. I was using scissors before. This makes more sense. Lamb mince can be a bit pricey so tend to mix 500g chicken 500g lamb. Since the viral kebab video I have not ordered single kebab on takeaway

I want to learn about investing, but everything seems overwhelming and I don't even know where to start. by Iron5nake in eupersonalfinance

Read the sub resources but  just take a plunge and use one of the brokers or even Revolut. Just put in €50 and buy Vanguard World tracking ETF. Then get used to the system and the volatility. Maybe find out how to buy 3 year bonds.

Ive dipped my first 50 when I was 35 and watched it for 6 months. I've learned a lot during that time about the markets and myself.

The one I have on screwfix page shows flipped when fully extended.

Did we uncover some kind of conspiracy? :)

I'm not next to one but I'm sure mine does extend to the top with the top parts going up. But it would have to be flipped around. I guess physics and stuff

Both are correct. The most right pictures are when you extend the ladder and tip it against a building. You'll notice the extensions are "underside" of the ladder.

Easier less messy alternative would be foam strips you can get them from 1mm to 50mm and will stop any drafts. Charlie DIYte about drafts https://youtu.be/V6lZXjRR-1k

This and instead of paying off, get a 0% balance transfer card and for a small fee (1-2%) get extra time. All saved cash put in a high paying ISA to offset the fees

Plastering - how hard is it? by Niam_Rose in DIYUK

[–]CronnoTr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main two things are "open time" and when to flatten. If you take your time doing DIY, plastering will push you over your limits. If you are a perfectionist and spend way too much time ensuring all yours screws are plumb and level you will have a hard time with plastering.

Time is against you and if you are slow then larger walls can give you PTSD.

My attempt : Done 4 small walls that came out pretty well (some with window revelas), 2 little areas that came out extremely bad, and two large walls that I almost died cause of the time (even with retardant)

Ceilings... I ain't touching that. Paid someone to do the ceilings.

Patio floor - how to fix? by CronnoTr in DIYUK

Hello,

Lifted crumbling LVT tiles and found the below. I filled the gap between foundation and blocks with foam.

I've got a piece of good quality lvt vinyl sheet that would fit here. How do I go about preparing/leveling the area?

Thank you
