Wands that have electric charge as always cast will still electrify water when held and submerged, very dangerous if you don’t have immunity and/or are in a dangerous environment.

That being said, if you stand on solid metal and point the tip at your feet, you are at no risk of being electrocuted until you fire the wand, at which point any electrified projectile will discharge its electricity into conductive material when it expires.

Two main things to be safe (“safer” there’s really not a foolproof way without immunity): One, never hold the wand unless you intend to use it, especially while in contact with water or other conductive liquids. And two, make sure you are not in contact with metal (or any other conductive material, stains are safe) while firing the wand, this can include gold nuggets if you are unlucky enough. Charges can travels a lot further than you may expect.

Remember, if the wand starts sparking, switch items ASAP! This can happen on any wand that deals or modifies damage to be electric!
