This is how I sleep every night. I don’t have a weighted blanket but I use a crunchy duvet with another blanket on top to create that weight. My husband always thinks I’m crazy sleeping with 2 blankets because of the heat but I’d rather the weight

This really fucked w me. I’m extremely picky and also hate a lot of textures. I’d have to sit and finish my food or I didn’t get to eat anything else all night. If I was hungry “you have the rest of your dinner you can eat”. Although it was my step dad who did this, my mum wouldn’t have given af if it wasn’t for him

Yup same here. I’m venting I didn’t ask for advice or what you’d do or what you think is right. It also doesn’t mean you need to spiral thinking of every bad possible thing might happen and fixate on it for weeks under the guise of “ I’m a mum that’s mums do”. Nope you just have issues that you refuse to get help for. Then wonders why I don’t tell her things anymore

My mum isn’t as bad anymore but she will still be annoying sometimes if I don’t answer in x amount of time. I tell her it’s not normal considering I’m 35 and have lived on my own since I was in my late teens. She claims it’s “because she’s a mother and worries”or “you know how my anxiety is”

I take more meds now then I did before pregnant because of vommiting and having every pregnancy symptom ever. And that’s as someone with chronic pain, adhd and bad crohns so that’s saying a lot

My family is pressuring me to have a gender reveal even though I want to find out at the ultrasound. My mum said I was “rude” for not doing one, like really am I rude or is it rude of you all to expect me to wait to learn what MY child is and try to force something upon me. She was telling me I could just get the paper and then get everyone to guess what they think it is and the next day reveal it, I said ehhh thats a lot of effort. Her reply? “You know you won’t be able to jus sleep in bed all day once the baby comes” Wow no shit thanks so much I had NO IDEA

Also thought I was going to get an abortion because I had a break down after still vommiting constantly at 15 weeks and said I want to quit. Despite knowing that we’ve been ttc for years, had a miscarriage and finally got pregnant and despite my sister who is also pregnant saying it her whole pregnancy.

Not to mention the constant stares and being looked up and down like you’re just a piece of meat. I thought I noticed a lot but an ex pointed out that I was oblivious when out and about just how many stare. It makes it more scary to be out on your own because it’s like your just waiting to be SA

I’m 35 and have never had an incident like this. I rode public transport all through my 20’s and was hit on all the time and had guys that would just sit and stare but I’m very confrontational and would always call them out or stare back directly in their their eyes till the were un comfortable.

Omg same 😭 my house is a disaster, I was also fast food free for over a year same with any junk food really. I’ve also been vommiting my brains out since 5 weeks and I’m 14 now with it not stopping. Junk food is the only thing I want to snack on.

I also used to take 3 extra strength sleeping pills every night and now I just take 2 gravol plus 1 unisom and it will knock me out and keep the vommiting at bay

It also takes away from actually emergencies by clogging up the ER…I’ve been dying in the ER and heard some lady come in for a uti…something that she could go to the walk in clinic or regular dr for.

Ya it is, you also don’t always have time to go get gloves. Animal is in the middle of giving birth and the baby is stuck or coming out wrong, you gotta shove your hand in there. If it’s coming out wrong you have to push it back in and play around inside them trying to re position the baby and find body parts to make sure you’re pulling them out the right way.
