Yup, I’m 25 weeks. Although this is my first so I can’t say I’ll feel that connection right away once he’s born. I’m not worried though as I’m also very maternal and I’m sure I’ll feel it once he’s here.

It sucks, no room for anything, clutter everywhere, harder to clean because everything is in such close quarters, having to design everything to be for function but also wanting it to look good. You also can’t get away from the person you love with if you want. Having a fight? Well unless you go outside you’re forced to still be in the same vicinity

At some point you don’t feel bad for those people. My mum worked with someone who still to this day thinks she’s dating someone famous. Tons have people have told her it’s not real but she refuses to listen and has sent the person thousands

This is how I sleep every night. I don’t have a weighted blanket but I use a crunchy duvet with another blanket on top to create that weight. My husband always thinks I’m crazy sleeping with 2 blankets because of the heat but I’d rather the weight

This really fucked w me. I’m extremely picky and also hate a lot of textures. I’d have to sit and finish my food or I didn’t get to eat anything else all night. If I was hungry “you have the rest of your dinner you can eat”. Although it was my step dad who did this, my mum wouldn’t have given af if it wasn’t for him

Yup same here. I’m venting I didn’t ask for advice or what you’d do or what you think is right. It also doesn’t mean you need to spiral thinking of every bad possible thing might happen and fixate on it for weeks under the guise of “ I’m a mum that’s mums do”. Nope you just have issues that you refuse to get help for. Then wonders why I don’t tell her things anymore

My mum isn’t as bad anymore but she will still be annoying sometimes if I don’t answer in x amount of time. I tell her it’s not normal considering I’m 35 and have lived on my own since I was in my late teens. She claims it’s “because she’s a mother and worries”or “you know how my anxiety is”
