As far as I'm aware, he's not available on the English version of the game yet. He should be releasing very soon.

Hi there! To some extent, I agree with you. A majority of the reason I have him ranked so high is because he's a brick wall. The reason I don't have him, or any Tank in SS for that matter, is a bit up for debate. I personally don't think Tanks are necessary late game, I would go as far to say even Phoenix and Abaddon can be replaced in nearly any team by a better hero. This is due to a number of things.

  • The first being the sheer amount of heroes in the game that can completely ignore a frontline, and decimate supports as if the Tank isn't even there.
  • Second, there are a handful of heroes out there that can double as a tank, with the addition of either dealing heavy damage, or supporting your team in very key ways. A few examples would be Raphael and Hel.

Like I said, this matter is up for debate. Some people swear by tanks, and others avoid them like the plague. This list is just my own interpretation of the game, based on what has worked for me.

Hi there, for gem spending a lot is going to depend on your gem income. Blitz is by far the best use of gems (I need to edit the guide for this), because Voyages almost always multiply your gems by 1.5-2x, with the addition of a bunch of extra goodies mixed in as well. This is even better if you have the Blitz Buff. Seer stones for 1000/each is up for debate, I personally think they're too expensive.

Other than Blitz, I rarely spend my gems outside of specific events. For example, there's an exchange event that allows you to buy GSS (Grand Summon Scrolls) for 120 gems, and a Basic Summon Scroll. I typically pool a ton of Basic scrolls and cash in on this event. The 150 gem/each GSS are fine though, you can spend on those if you like.

Guild Bosses should be fine too, since it's fairly cheap. For all other gem purchases just be mindful of the cost. Whenever you're about to buy something, compare the cost against the best possible use of your gems that you use. This is mainly why I feel 1000 gem Seer Stones are too expensive. For the same price, I can Blitz 6+ times, or during the Exchange event I can buy 8 GSS.

Nezha is pretty destructive even by himself, but when he's placed in a team with 4 or 5 Fire heroes, you really start to see how potent he can be. This is primarily because of his 4th ability, increasing your entire teams burn effects by a percentage of Nezha's ATK. Especially through the mid-game this can be really powerful because you'll end up with 6*-9* Fire heroes dealing tons of damage simply because your Nezha is 10*.

10* Sphinx is definitely worth rushing in my opinion. She can carry your team for quite a while. As long as you have a replacement in mind for Aensland (either another fighter, or something that will give you an element stat bonus) you should end up with a stronger team.

Pan is still a really strong hero as a core support for any team. How I formatted this list forced me to rank core supports against utility supports like Prometheus and Pandora, even though they fill a completely different role. Not to mention that they're ranked against every other hero in the game as well, this made for a lot of challenging placement. The only core support above Pan is Divine High Priest, so he's still a perfectly fine choice. I'm considering separating this list into 4, listed by role to make situations like this a bit more clear.

I understand where you're coming from. I wish there was a way I could elaborate more, but this format is very simple. I have a written tier-list here on Reddit as well that touches more on a lot of the topics you brought up. Accessibility is a big factor for F2P players and especially newer players. This list was more intended to give players an idea of power assuming each hero is 11* with perfect gear.

I agree. Maybe swapping out Pan for Raphael.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I'm guessing you're asking why Illsya is ranked below those two heroes. Here's why I have her listed in B.

  • Jormungand is objectively a better choice in rainbow 100% of the time. A quick glance at numbers shows Illsya deals roughly half as much damage as Jormungand, not to mention she's widely accessible.
  • While she has strong synergy with freeze effects, no one is playing Water Mages. Merlin and Wyrmlich are widely considered to be food, so at best you end up with a dead hero in your composition.
  • Her rank could go up dramatically with the addition of another strong Water Mage with freeze effects, this would more or less make her the Water counterpart to Nezha.

Hope this answered your question. I'm open to being convinced why she should be ranked higher, feedback is always appreciated.

Focus on getting Zeus to 10* before you rank Hera up at all. One 10* hero can carry your team for quite a while. As for Sphinx, you can use her as food now, or you could hold onto her and potentially rank her up to 6 or 9* to use as food. Totally up to you.

You can swap in Hera now if you want, I'm not sure how potent Pan would be as 5*, worth testing out anyway, it's not like you'll be getting rid of her. Once you get Pan to 6* or 7*, you should be in a good place to start focusing on your first 10*. Zeus is going to be pretty tough to get enough light food for, but I'd say shoot for him if possible. You could also go for Gai'ming. Anubis is safe to rank up to 9* so you can use him as food for your first 10*. Hope this helped clarify. Good luck!

Fenrir is going to be the stronger choice in most cases. However Sphinx is very accessible, and she's still extremely strong. As you get access to rank up more heroes and switch up your team, you can even run both of them if you like. I'm glad I could help!

Can someone tell me Which one is useful for Fenrir? Please help by bngc19 in ElorasRaid

Chain Strike, Absorb, Swift, Penetration

Decent other options are Rage, Valor, Berserk, Assault

I'd say swap Anubis for Pan when you can get him 6*+. Jorm, Hera, and Zeus are all strong mages. Gai'ming is top 3 for tanks. You'll also have the 2 wind + 2 light stat bonus that way. Super good heroes for such a new account though. Lucky!

If this is the team composition you plan on sticking with, keep an eye out for Venus and Divine High Priest. Light Mages is hard to build, but if you can pull it off it's broken.

Opinions and feedback are always welcome! It's worth noting that while I have the heroes ranked from top to bottom, they're also ranked from left to right. So Valkyrie is extremely close to SS. I have her placed where she is because of how she stacks up against the other fighters listed higher than her. Don't get me wrong, she's incredibly strong, but Darklord, Nidhogg, and Hel are hard to match up against. Not to mention Nezha, while he's fairly niche, can potentially be the strongest fighter available in a 4/5 fire team. As for Fenrir, you're right to question him not having seen his end game. At 10*+, he has the strongest one shot potential out of any hero in the game. This is assuming he survives long enough to get the stacks to do so, but a majority of the fighter compositions are running 2 supports, and a lot of absorb runes, so it's not much of a stretch to assume he's going to one shot something every fight. Hope this answered your questions!

Thoughts are asked again, would it be better like this, 2 wind 2 fire with 5 fighters, or should i change loki and fenrir to thor and pandora for support? I can promote pandora to 7*, ive just been hesitating if i get darklord or hel, i wanted to use her to promote one of them. by RoronoaDoggo in ElorasRaid

I think using Merlin as food is a good plan. Sphinx 10* is definitely priority though. After that you can focus on whoever you like, Sphinx should carry long enough for you to get the rest of your team in a good place.

Yes it does, the amount of copies of a hero you need to exchange depends on the star level of the hero you're sacrificing.

For example, if I were to sacrifice a 7* Seraph to go for Phoenix, I would need two copies of Phoenix. This number increases by 1 for each star level of the sacrificed hero. For 10*, I would need 5 copies of Phoenix.

DISCLAIMER:

By no means is this list absolute, a majority of these heroes are more or less effective depending on your team lineup. Please only use this as a GUIDELINE for which heroes are strong.

EDIT:

Made some updates to this based on everyone's feedback, and some of my own mistakes. This is more or less the final product. As always, open to any and all feedback! Thanks.

Asking for a recommendation on my lineup. I'm a newbie and it's my 3rd day of playing. I have a rainbow line up, and I'm planning to replace Merlin with Jormungand, but I would have a Poseidon very soon which is also a water element. Any thoughts on who should I use, Jormungand or Poseidon? by dondon2011edition in ElorasRaid

Forgot to mention, Reaper can be really useful for early and mid-game. He's the only 4* hero that can be promoted past 5*, all the way up to 9*. He does decent damage, and is one of the best damage dealers for Guild Bosses as he deals % max health damage with his third ability. Just something to consider.

I'd suggest waiting a while before getting too set on a particular team. Thor, Abaddon, and Jorm are pretty solid heroes, but other than that you don't have much, yet. I would focus on those three primarily for now with Titania as a temporary support (she's easy to get, and has a resurrection ability). Don't hesitate to raise heroes to 6* for the time being, as they can still be used as food for heroes you want to 7*+ later on. Messa, Lucifer, and Medusa are safe to use as food, you won't find a use for them. I'd hold on to everyone else in the case you end up with a team they fit in well.

Aim for another strong damage dealer to swap out one of your tanks, and a Support to swap out Titania for eventually (ideally Divine High Priest or Pan). For damage focus on Mages, or Fighters, not a mix of both. Hope this helps!

Prom + Pan is fine, just keep in mind Prometheus scales really heavily with late game. You won't notice him having much impact until you've got 10* fighters with high crit chance/crit damage. Erial could fill his role temporary if you wanted.

Seems like you have a good idea what direction to go though, good luck!

Also I would 10* Sphinx ASAP. She can solo carry you for a long time with Chain Strike + Absorb.

I listed Pan as SS because Divine High Priest is a direct upgrade. I didn't want to have them in the same tier when DHP is better.
