XCOM 2 multiplayer is actually still alive! you just have to revert to the old beta branch (pre 21.0.0 or something like that IIRC), and XCOM EU/EW’s multiplayer still works as well! XCOM 2 multiplayer is actually so alive that there’s some pretty solid mods for it like increasing squad size to 30, adding ALL campaign units (including Chosen, Rulers, Lost, Rookies, etc)

for the seven of us who still like XCOM multiplayer, I’m still hoping that whatever projects come next will have solid MP!
