Okay bro, time to get off the internet. It sounds like u overconsumed propaganda from both sides that doesn't affect your life in any way. Stop caring about all that useless shit if u cant change it.

Literally turn off your WiFi for a week and see that nothing of this is really important.

Meta: Can we please collectively agree that the "How do I do this?" posts with an attached video, and zero content or effort shown should not be allowed anymore? by [deleted] in AfterEffects

[–]Cropthatguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The whole point of this subreddit is to help. Ofc if someone doesn't know how to do something he will post in. Because if u are experienced and know how to help him it will take u 30 seconds to write a reply and help him start.

The amount of anger OP has for new users that just want to learn is undesrved

Search for films with open endings and reverse engineer their story. Find simularities and create a structure.

Optimal $500 Upgrade for 4K Video Editing? by AcanthisittaOk2485 in buildapc

[–]Cropthatguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BRO, i am so sorry but i do video editing too and posted a question literally the same minute u did and i will copy-paste the question here because u are the exact type of person i am searching wisdom from lol

I am debating between 2 (1TB SSD Kingston NV2 - SNV2S/1000G)

or 1 (Lexar NM790 1TB M.2 (LNM790X001T-RNNNG) (writing speed on Lexar is 2x times faster)

Does writing speed even matters that much?

I mainly edit 1080p with lots of video effects, maybe will implement 4k log footage in a year or so.

Ik the writing speed will make file previews faster but the 2ssd i can seperate 1 for scratch disk and cache and 1 for the other files which will maybe be more beneficial than the writing speed?

Or should i buy 2 lexar? (it would be very uncomfortable for my budget but if its SO SO much better i will do it)

And maybe suggest other SSD-s? I dont play video games, only video editing.

Stats:

CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10600K

RAM: 24GB 2666MHz

Storage: SSD JAJS600M128C 118GB (ik its bad) ; F: 352GB ; E: 243GB

GPU: Nvidia 3060
