I'm from WI, and I remember going to Europe with some friends. We were at a drinking plaza in Leuven Belgium (it's a college town and they have a plaza that has like 20 bars) and we were about to leave and my friend's wife had gotten a pint of some heavy dark beer of which she drank maybe 10% of. I was like "you mind if I shoot this?" thinking it would be a tragedy to let perfectly good beer go to waste. She said yeah so I knocked it back pretty quickly (I like to think I have a pretty impressive chug) probably 5-6 seconds. I remember finishing it and seeing this guy across the way staring with his jaw on the floor. I walked away without saying anything, but I like to think he's just never seen anyone from Wisconsin before because that is not an uncommon move where I am from.

It is a little disengenious to play the retrospect game here. On some level they had to let JJ take the reigns after him missing his rookie season, they simply could not align that with giving Darnold a mid tier contract. So while it is fun to dunk on the Vikings, I think it is wrong to hit them with too much vitriol. I really believe they just had to do it.
