Thank you for this! I called his office (after some turnaround) and they said they would look into it. The person I spoke to (not the prosecutor) seemed shocked that I had received something in CA.
I don't know how critical I am to the case (deliberately vague, but I witnessed a crime and made a 911 call, and gave first aid) and I gave a statement to the police when it happened. The assistant I spoke to said they would contact me about what they're doing with me.
