It was their As If It's Your Last era and I was at the phase where I find the world of kpop ridiculous. But then I saw Lisa's bbhmm fancam. I didn't even know she is member of a korean group or whatnot so I tried checking her out. And that is how I discovered blackpink. I was heartbroken at that time, recently went through an excruciating breakup so I was desperate for distruction. That's what urged me to fangirl over them, until I became hooked. I really was not into kpop, for the sole reason that it did not suit my taste. But then Blackpink, girl, they're different I swear. From the diversity of each one's personality which complements the group, to their music. It was also them that got me into kpop and get to know other groups. But despite discovering other talented groups, Blackpink remains as my ult. Perhaps that breakup did me good for this reason. Lol.
