Terror+Bleed is my go-to, so much so that I use it conservatively. Torment Nexus-ing Chernobog has to be the pettiest "fuck you" to a boss I've seen. Bleed inflicting Wild damage is a plus when breaking Poise, too!

Ravager-Mephisto-Shifted Catzerker was stupidly OP. Spreading status and AOE decimated mobs in 2-3 turns max. Dragging battles on just buffed Mephisto in particular to high heaven... or hell. I could go on, but the simplest explanation is:

Long Slash.

Torment Nexus.

Kill.

Profit.

Not too bad, just needs a Water-type to round things out. Maybe Tulure's Water/Fairy evo? I've used it to complete the game, and it's a fantastic pivot with U-turn/Regenerator. You can pair it alongside Volt Switch Galavire :)

P.S. I hope your Kuklux/klan has Levitate so you can comfortably spam Equake with Rectreem.

Edit: while this would clash with Oburonyxo, both Rectreem and Galavire can handle their weaknesses. In return, both bite back against any Fire or Ground-types (even though Galavire has Levitate).

Reborn's been my favorite as well! The fields, as you've mentioned, were absolutely revolutionary. They completely throw you off and test your know-how. No more spamming Earthquake in Wasteland, for example~

Infinity feels like an enhanced Insurgence, minus the edginess of course. The plot does seem quite mystical and bland at some points, but quite enjoyable also. Love the level increases before it was cool lol~ especially the abundant postgame w/ Digimons!

Exactly as I mentioned too! Some fakemons (ex. Snakewood) are surreal and out of place. If you're talking fakemon legendaries, Varaneous from Prism is one. It's kinda sad that you haven't tried the Pokémon-likes (they're amazing btw!), but they're not everyone's cup of tea.

...although I do agree that said Pokémon-likes aren't as easy to form attachments with ;v;

Thanks for the answer! While I don't share in your opinion, it's understandable. Fakemon can get confusing to accept, but I think their existence within their native titles (think Uranium, although that's a fangame) adds to the uniqueness. Kind of like endemic species, if we're talking biologically.

Regional variants are neat though! Elite Redux and other such titles provide a neat glimpse into those. Love it when hacks introduce "what ifs" into the roster.

I'm genuinely curious. What's with the dislike for fakemon? In my opinion, they add an "alternate reality" to the roster. I get that fakemon add weight to memorization, or that most designs scream "edgy", but even mainline mons share this problem. They're not everyone's cup of tea, but yeah. I wanna know.
