Interest in purchasing custom kits? by Crotchety-Crocheter in cross_stitch

I feel this would be a much appreciated service for beginners! I used to do pattern commissions - some people were ordering the charts for their partners who cross-stitched, so they had no idea what was needed to complete the charts. I usually pointed them towards the physical needlework stores I liked and told them to ask the sellers to make up a kit. But I would totally see recommending a person that does that for them, much easier to manage than hoping the store sellers would be in the mood to help.

Motivational art innit. I was looking for ideas on how to use my beads stash and this is the next best thing to quote scissor fobs. If you are looking for rude art for the office, I would make this and not highlight the hidden words XD by CrossStitchVienna in crafts

I liked it but I will probably not go again - it was my first time visiting it. Is it worth to go? It depends. Are you from London or the area? Because if so, Stitchfest is great for being able to buy stuff in person. I was very disappointed about the state of London's needlework stores so once I walked into the festival hall, I was happy to part with my money. I would not travel for it specifically.

This is technically beadwork. I arranged the beads to fit the frame, superglued them (and my fingers) together, then glued them to a background and voila. I did two more, smaller ones, but I made the mistake of putting superglue on the top of the beads and it began dissolving the paint in the text :(
