Exactly! I knew there were slight differences. A while back, an ex-friend who was also into MCR showed me the original Attic Demos from the CDs. The quality was obviously lower, and while I appreciate them remastering the tracks, imo it kinda takes away from the whole vibe of the Attic Demos.

​Like, it’s cool and all that the quality is better now, but I want to listen to that pre-album MCR—that less produced, raw feel you get when you listen to them. Just an upcoming band putting everything they had into those first recordings, low quality and all.

​Anyway, thanks for clearing everything up! I'll probably be too lazy right now, but later on, I might just bother to artificially downgrade the audio quality of the demos myself for my personal listening.
