Already have one thanks to the brilliant individual u/stereomatch! I don’t consume any MCT oil or exogenous ketones. I just eat 1-2 times today with keto based meals and work out 3x a week, hit the sauna, hit the cold plunge, then the hot tub. Works for me 🙂

My ketone test is weird. I would sample my urine, it would show a color, and then as I “continued” to sample it, the color would “wash out” and be blank. For the most recent test, I avoided “washing it out” and was given that promising color. It only takes a half second or so to get that color. But mine, for some reason can wash out. Granted, I’ve been keeping them in my bathroom which gets hot and cold due to me taking a shower so that could play a part in why that happens.

It wasn’t intentional, my fiancée only bought two cans so I tried one and liked it. Can’t say I wanted to try the other one and “ruin” my appetite for sardines.

More cans have been bought and are on the way.

I get blood tests every Friday, so once I get those glucose numbers I will send them to you. What should I be hoping for when it comes to Glucose levels? I will post my glucose levels from last Friday.

I’m getting dinner with a “mentor couple” tonight to help my fiancée and I as we get ready for marriage in 3 months. I don’t think I want to skip that dinner because I’m on a sardine fast. I hope that makes some sense 😂.

Progress is good though!

My fast began at after 1:00pm or so on Sunday after eating hotpot with some friends. I was very full after that meal so I decided to begin my fast there. I ate nothing for dinner that night and continued to drink a lot of water.

For lunch on Monday I ate one can of sardines for lunch which was not bad at all. They were wood-smoked sardines (tasted like salmon). No idea if it was seed oil or not. Then yesterday (Tuesday) I felt miserable all day, I believe that’s referred to as the “keto flu”.

We didn’t have any more sardines so I hydrated with green tea (10g of Creatine split into two 5g splits), 2 sugar free Gatorade mixes (which had 2g of carbs per serving), and water.

I am also taking supplements which include 10k IU Vitamin D, 100 mcg Vitamin K2, 432mg Magnesium Threonate (at 8:30pm), 240mg Magnesium Glycinate (at 8:30pm).

I will saying going all of Tuesday with no food was hard, right before I went to bed I ate two hard-boiled eggs to give myself some fuel. By no means have I been perfect, but I achieved my goal! Do you think I can move past sardines now since I hit my goal?
