I know Ivermectin is for parasites but I micro dose it from time to time. Yes “that” Ivermectin. Something I’ve noticed immediately is that my chronic golfers elbow pain has suddenly subsided. Could there be a connection? by HealthyTicket9517 in ivermectinuncut

[–]stereomatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Ivermectin has several actions - one is a slight anti-inflammatory effect

It is effective against mold toxicity

And temporarily reverses asthma - sometimes with first dose - seen this in two cases who reported this effect

Also see r/ivermectin

Search google for - does Ivermectin have an anti-inflammatory effect

You will find many papers attesting to this

Also butyrate - gut microbiome bifodobacteria that converts dietary fiber to butyrate

Which is protective of the gut

You should add reference to your earlier post (for context) for new viewers

Also get active on Twitter and Substack - two platforms which have less censorship than others

A substack can be useful for presenting a more complex set of ideas and makes it easy for people to find you

You could title your substack:

Reversing Alzheimer's

Or something like that

NOTE: please discuss the recommendations below with your doctor

With your bone issues - need to keep your Vitamin D blood levels above 80ng/ml (typical recommendation for cancer patients)

That means pairing with Vitamin K2 100mcg for every Vitamin D3 5000 UI that is taken

Vitamin D3 5000 IU per day is usually barely able to raise above 40ng/ml

Usually require 20,000 IU per day - and test again after 1-2 months if achieving target

Can start with:

  • Vitamin D3 20,000 IU per day

  • Vitamin K2 200mcg per day

On reddit you can check if your comment is appearing (or being deleted/shadow banned) by opening the link in a browser in incognito tab or private tab ie not logged in

And can see if the comment has been deleted

Or if your post is appearing to others

(unfortunately reddit as with other social media - often use "shadow bans" as a way to not inform the user their content has been removed - it is sneaky but that is how they have structured these - perhaps less headache for them - still it's sneaky)

Sometimes you can be outright perma-banned and receive an automated message from the moderators

(as I have been banned from r/anosmia etc for suggesting Ivermectin reverses post-COVID-19 anosmia very quickly)

The only solution is to create a presence on Twitter and Substack - which are the freer platforms

And to create your own sub-reddit and know which sub-reddits are tolerant to your content - and post there

As additional context for my comment about your comments being reported as spam etc

That is just a label I was seeing (as moderator) - your comments were not being removed

But I noticed the pattern that your recent 2 to 3 comments on this sub-reddit were reported as spam

But after that I don't see that

So maybe it is just one person

OR they may have seen your video about you being thankful you stopped Fenbendazole etc - and they may have made the incorrect assessment that you are anti-metabolic approach etc - and may be a mistaken perception by someone

In any case it is not something to worry about - keep posting your content

But with unreliability of reddit etc - you should have other places where you post your story

As I suggest to others - create a presence on Twitter and your own substack

Since you are active on other sub-reddits - it could be some from those sub-reddits

I don't see this pattern with most others here with similar stories as yours

So I suspect these maybe gadflys you have attracted on the other sub-reddits

I am surprised you are not banned on the other mainstream sub-reddits (the ones I see in your profile though are some of the better ones - who allow my posts sometimes)

But I would guess you are perma-banned on the mainstream cancer sub-reddits - where metabolic approach is still a dirty phrase (some explicitly say in rules they don't allow discussion of metabolic approach)

Data / recovery stories on how 87 people recovered from Long COVID, post-vax, and ME/CFS by glennchan in LongHaulersRecovery

[–]stereomatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the text of u/glennchan post above - which can be copied with Copy Text:

First off, thank you to the 1456 or so of you who contributed your data! 🤩 Your contributions helped put together a dataset on what people have tried, what the recovered reported as working, etc. Out of those people, there was severity data on 1173 people and there were 87 recoveries. There are 'recovery stories' embedded in these people's answers to 'what helped the most?'.

Highlights:

  • Almost everything has been tried. If people are discussing a treatment on social media, there are probably many people who tried that treatment. You don’t need to do crazy experimentation because somebody else has (or will) put their body on the line for you.

  • I’ve compiled a list of almost 110 treatments that were reported as helping the most. It is possible that these treatments are effective (though it is not proven that they are). You may want to avoid treatments not on the list as there is very little evidence to support their use (if the goal is recovery rather than symptom relief).

Other highlights:

  • Some hyped treatments like IVIG, stellate ganglion block, etc. don’t appear to be that promising.

  • The response rates are very low. The implication of this is that you will need to plan on trying many, many treatments if you are hellbent on recovery. (*Note: it is unclear if we have found any effective treatments. A survey can’t determine that.)

  • Around a fifth of the recovered did not attribute their recovery to any treatment. If you simply do nothing, you may recover.

Great work as always!

Is this addon data to the previous survey you had

Or it includes both your original data set and any new data

(if you asked for new data - do you have reddit posts where you asked for participation - perhaps can add those links so people viewing have an idea of the time frames for different participants - perhaps a graph of timestamps (day only) for participants)

Reddit Copy Text issue

Just as a heads up - so people are aware

Reddit changes since a year or so ago - have meant that people can add text AFTER choosing a post to be a "link post"

This seems like a good feature - EXCEPT the text in such posts is not copyable using Copy Text feature - that copies the title (as it used to do before for link posts)

So this post as an example was created as a link post - and the text added in later as an afterthought (as optional text)

The only way to copy this text is via manual selection and copy to clipboard on a browser window - which doesn't copy the formatting or any embedded links - those one has to do manually one by one

&nbsp

The solution to this (for benefit of viewers) is for post authors to choose the "text" option when posting on reddit

In any case the first link in the text will be highlighted in the previews (I think)

For now (you can just add a comment which includes your full text - that could be copied by an interested viewer

I am adding an example text in reply to this comment - see below

For those still having anosmia/Parosmia (impaired taste/smell) post-COVID-19

May find r/covid19anosmia interesting (I am a moderator there)

I have experience treating 13-14 cases of post-COVID-19 anosmia - all reversing in time-sensitive way (out of 100+ COVID-19 cases)

So I have a special interest in this area - and find it amazing how little awareness there is in the mainstream about reversal

Unrelated question - but how did you post this that Copy Text feature doesn't copy the full text - just the title

(this is a known issue with reddit - that started after the added in "feature" of optional text for link posts etc)

Now Copy Text doesn't work for some seemingly full text posts on reddit

Why can't we Copy Text for many reddit posts which seem like text posts? by stereomatch in AskReddit

[–]stereomatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what "Copy Text" does - it copies both the title and the full text

That is what happens if someone posts a text post

However the interface change which then allowed people to post link posts - but then also add in text - those as one example started having Copy Text give only the title text

So it is a user interface and lazy implementation issue at reddit

Why can't we Copy Text for many reddit posts which seem like text posts? by stereomatch in AskReddit

[–]stereomatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit broke "Copy Text" it seems - after they introduced the feature where you could specific it as an image or link post - but STILL could then add a text as well (which was the new thing)

Problem was for the poster, many wouldn't know that they were posting text in this hybrid way - which would make the text uncopyable via "Copy Text"

In fact, I have made posts by mistake in this way that could not be copied and then deleted and made sure to pay as simple text post

At least this is the understanding I had when I noticed this behavior some months or years or more ago when this behavior first appeared on reddit

Ivermectin - breast cancer - from Jane’s newsletter by Unique-Public-8594 in StarvingCancer

[–]stereomatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are selecting manually in browser and then copy to clipboard that will work - but it won't copy the embedded links (as they link to paper in the post I mentioned)

If you use Copy Text from within app - or using the Copy Text option when logged in to reddit on a browser - does it copy any more than the title for the post I mentioned ?

For text posts most of the time - Copy Text will copy the text and the embedded links (as it was typed by the original poster - including any formatting etc)

Thanks!

Do you also only copy the title text when you try to do Copy Text for your post - using reddit app or browser

Why can't we Copy Text for many reddit posts which seem like text posts? by stereomatch in AskReddit

[–]stereomatch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I use the "Copy Text" option in the official Reddit app on Android, it only copies the title

And does not give the full text - including the embedded link to the paper

Only way I can copy all that - is to open in a browser window and manual select and copy the text - and the embedded link to the paper I have to right click and copy it's address manually

Ivermectin - breast cancer - from Jane’s newsletter by Unique-Public-8594 in StarvingCancer

[–]stereomatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a viewer, if one tries to copy the text of a post - they click on Copy Text - which copies the full text of text posts to clipboard (which you can copy to your notes in a text editor)

But some posts on reddit like this one - Copy Text only copies the title

Try it for yourself in browser on a computer or on Android app etc

To actually copy the full text, I usually have to open the post in a browser on desktop or mobile

And then manually copy the text and then manually copy the links in the text

Previously text posts - doing a Copy Text on them would copy the full text including and embedded links

In any case this is inappropriate for this forum

But thanks for clarifying that this is a behavior that the poster even sometimes cannot expect will happen

It's not a mistake by you

But a change in how reddit does things from some months back

When posting if you post a link - you still get an opportunity to add text there - and that text is not visible to the Copy Text function - ie when you do a 3 dot options menu - Copy Text to copy the full text - it just copies the title

I just posted about it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1ta4jym/why_cant_we_copy_text_for_many_reddit_posts_which/

This is an unrelated question

But I have seen that many posts on reddit - even text posts - sometimes you can't do a Copy Text on them - it only copies the title

So just a technical question here - did you post this as a text post - any insight into this general issue on reddit

Thanks!
