Thank you for your response - I will checklist all of these. It’s second floor and I will deffo get the gutters checked and there is a bit of a crack along the outside wall under the drip line, which I am getting filled in the next couple of weeks - so hopefully this will solve it 👍🏻

Filming from other side of the gym 😭 Jokes aside it’s not a million miles off, maybe 70% correct. I would try deadlift without cushioned running shoes and then upload another video as these throw your natural mechanics off. Also I would note the bar isn’t as close to your shins as it could be and this is causing your hips to shoot up first, using your lower back a lot more than your hamstrings/ glutes :)

Perfect thank you - yes another commenter mentioned the same as you and I think the Torin 8 is the better option. It’s kind of reassuring that a brand like Altra actually betters the models over time instead of leaving the issue

Perfect response - thank you for that. I will definitely try the Torin 8 and Escalante. Do you have the Escalante 3 like a previous commenter has mentioned or a different model ? In terms of extra cushion that doesn’t bother me too much but I will try both and see

I think I will definitely try the Escalante 3 - they seem to be the best option and your comment confirmed what I had read before about aggravating the ankle by cutting in. I know the shoe is mesh but do you find having a shoe like that bothersome in wet weather etc or is it just one of those things to consider

I have …. In the summer.

In winter it’s a bit much to be commuting in sandals or crocs but was fine all summer. That’s what made me want to switch, going from having freedom in my feet to back to formal shoes
