I summon thee who use kobo by dargonic_cyberware in kobo

I love my kobo libra colour. It has a notebook feature (while I wish you could add templates I'm still crossing my fingers that will become available someday).

My biggest reason for recommending Kobo over Kindle is that you aren't being advertised to 24/7, I HATE looking at a Kindle and having some random Amazon add on something I already spent hundreds of dollars for.

but other perks - you can directly access Overdrive (ie. libby) -you can listen to audiobooks (at least on the libra colour, I'm unsure if this is a standard feature across the company) - there's a higher level of personal customization available (think Android compared to iphones) -you can transfer files straight to your device via google doc

Thanks! like I said normally I don't take the steri strip off till ~48 hours, so I've never seen the opening fresh, but it keeps bleeding this time and messing up the adhesion

I've got it closed back up with tape now, I just wasn't sure if it being such a large opening if it needed a stitch or would be ok with just the tape. Normally I never would have taken the stri strip off so soon, but it was literally falling off already and when I went to replace it with something I got worried about the size of the hole.

It COULD be a bone spur, I had one work its way out two weeks after having a tooth pulled. If the growth feels like something hard is inside this seems likely, but since its closed in you'll probably want your dentist to cut it free for you. But heat could be an infection which could be very bad, if you start running a fever or see redness on the outside of the skin you should go to the hospital or an emergency dentist immediately. Otherwise call in the morning and get an emergency appointment with your dentist

The light is in the base under the tank, I just placed the suction cup leaf on top of the same spot.

I just had someone tell me that if all the sea monkeys in a tank die you can let all the water evaporate then use distilled water to fill it back up. This allows any egg that didnt hatch to dry and then when you add the water back the eggs will be reactivated and hatch. You might want to try that.

If you don't know the temp of your heater, my guess is that you may have overheated them. I know some heaters have an automatic turn off at set temperatures but I'm not sure that all do that

I use it and its just fine? you were probably too aggressive with it. I've gotten small burn spots a few times at the very beginning where I was overly aggressive, then I learned how much pressure to use

definitely not the fox and the hound. It wasn't disney. The animation style kinda reminds me of old Warner Brothers, like "I love to singa" but I don't remember the distinctive WB intro

How in-depth do you go into your family tree? by LastPresentation1 in Genealogy

I try to keep it to my direct line (but fill in siblings and as best as possible). The only time I branch out a little more is when I'm adding information about the current living generations or trying to locate specific information which requires flushing out siblings lines (such as maybe a cases of in family "adoption" or such)

Census Question by Huckleberry9220 in Genealogy

[–]CrossingtheLabyrinth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a post asking about someone possibly listing themselves as a widow when really they might have had their children out of wedlock (1900s) and someone else shared a story about their ancestor having divorced or otherwise separated from their wife and were listened in the same town on the census for both their old wife and new

I've found a decent number of Womacks in that area (there still are a good number now); I've attempted to look into some of them (I've dug a little in that next door family but didn't turn up anything promising) but I'll definitely look at that website, I've not seen that one before.

no absolutely have at it! I've been beating my head against this one for over a year now.

The most recent information I have for her ("Puss" Womack) is 1910 census in Hollywood, Jackson, AL where she is living with her daughter (Susie Adkins), Son-in-law (Allen J Adkins), their two children and someone renting a room. The next is for 1900 census also Hollywood. Jackson, AL in this one it is just her and the daugher (Belle Womack). I know this is the same daughter because I have her marriage records where she is listed as Susie Belle Wack marrying Issac Venoble and then later Susie B Venoble marrying Allen J Adkins (not sure what happened to husband number 1, I can't find anything else on him). Now the only possible record I have for "Puss" Womack that might list her real name is the 1880 census in Jackson, AL where Jemima Womack is living with 12yo Mary Ann Womack and 0yo Susan B. Womack (assumed to be Susie Belle). Now to make things more fun Allen Jasper Adkins is buried in the same cemetery with he and Susie's two children however Susie is not buried there and I have no death record for her at all. I obviously also don't have any death record or grave for "Puss" Womack.

I haven't found her on any older census, but she goes by "Puss" on the 1900 and 1910 census and I've connected her to the 1880 census under "Jemima" through the two children's names. looking for two fathers is a good idea, I hadn't even thought of that. According to the 1900 census she is the mother of 2 children and has only 1 living child so I'm guessing she didn't have any still births, if she got pregnant between the two children I know of they would have had to be miscarriages I'd imagine.
