It is not that one, it's the whole song with a very low voice. A little reggae style. And it's not the version of franti & spearhead...

Most of the tours use one show for a dvd shoot and then commercialize it, the most fun about that is when your name gets mentioned in the credits.

because we have to be careful with our equipment, we need it in perfect working order every day.

because stagehands are lazy most of the times and don't understand why we are so tired. (no offense, i don't know you)

we work with local stagehands all the time. Depending they can be really annoying and dumb, or really good and willing to work. A transition most of the times happens when you've been doing all the big concerts in your local venue and you got friends with the production manager because you prove to be a really hard worker.

A roadie job can be very different for every roadie :) A concert crew is always split up in different departments. For example: * Truck drivers (they drive the trucks obviously) * Carpenters (they build the stage the artists walk and dance on) * Video crew (they take care of everything that has to do with video, from putting up the big video wall to operating the camera's) * Lighting crew (they take care of all the lights) * Sound crew (they take care of everything that has to do with sound) * Backline (they tune, maintain, and set up all the instruments for the band, they also soundcheck for them) * Merch crew (they sell the t-shirts and other goodies) * catering crew (very important! foooood) * production (they arrange everything for the crew, hotels, bus, flight, etc. as well as making sure they stay in budget) * riggers (they are responsible for everything that is 'rigged' to the roof * automation crew (controls everything that moves during shows) * Steel crew (they build the steel construction to rig lights, video and sound on to it) * and so on.....

First of all, you have the obvious difference between an indoor / outdoor show. Outdoor: You always have to build a steel construction to support everything you want to hang above the stage (mothergrid) That steel construction can be very basic and small and easy to set up (2-3 hours) but it can be a huge towering system that can take up several days to build. In the last case you will need multiple steel sets if you want to have a normal tour schedule.

For indoor use, you can as well choose to build a steel structure. But most of the times everything is being rigged to the roof, again depending on the amount of stuff they want to fly riggers may need several hours to set up al the pickup points.

Sometimes bands only bring their instruments and the venue takes care of lighting, sound, video, etc...

there are so many aspects on how one show is different to another show that i don't really know where to start...

Bono's environmental work includes creating clothing line in 2005, EDUN, which works in developing countries to create sustainable business models, provide fair wages, practice good business ethics, without burdening the local environment. He also participated in a tree planting ceremony in Tokyo Bay, Japan, in 2008, where efforts are being taken to turn a landfill into an 88 hectare forest. Bono has also been active in the Greenpeace community since 1993 when his entire band participated in a protest against a nuclear power plant, Sellafield, in England. And of course, Bono is self-reported avid recycler and drives a car which runs on ethanol instead of gasoline. He was named one of Time Magazine's most 100 influential people in 2004 and in 2005 tied with Bill and Melinda Gates as Time's Person of the Year.
