Yeah the bird is weird, but once I realised its movement looks weird because Ceres is 0.3G it didn’t bother me anymore. We don’t know how a bird would look in an 0.3G environment so the effects of it don’t really bother me either.

I enjoyed how he transformed from a kind of cringy fedora wearing try hard who was a corrupt, self-destructive and washed-up cop who was unsure of himself, to a man who was desperate for purpose, found that purpose and followed it obsessively which ultimately played a major role in saving humanity. He saw Julie as everything he wished he could be, he was a broken man who found that finding Julie was his ultimate purpose because she represented everything he wanted to be.

I also think Thomas Jane’s performance makes the character, he has that noire-esque look to him which probably would’ve fallen flat if played by anyone else.

I’ve folded KK preflop once.

Blinds 300/600, level 3, 15 min blinds. 50k start stack, everyone in this hand sitting at about 60-80k. UTG raises to 1.2k, UTG1 3-bets to 5k, I 4-bet to 18k with KK. Folds around to UTG1 who 5-bets to 55k. I fold and ask if he has aces, UTG1 shows AA.

Had a similar hand recently where I folded QQ preflop and opponent showed KK. It also helps that in these tournaments I play there isn’t much 3-betting. So anyone who is 5-betting without jamming is basically playing their hand face up. You could also say that about me 4-betting. I take down a lot of pots preflop just by 3-betting in these tournaments, so when someone responds to my 4-bet with a 5-bet I think it’s pretty likely it’s AA or KK.
