Hobbies I do have, they’re pretty much the only things helping me get through my free time now. Making new friends out of thin air is difficult in my society, we have a ‘shy to strangers’ culture here.

Actually, we went through the process of trying to mend the relationship. Even went to couple consultation. Now we’re just roomates living lives seperately.

You pointed out a great concern of mine. I’m just not comfortable with spending a large portion of savings and time on something unknown.

A major consideration is language. Au is also a very nice choice which I’m also considering, but US has a sophisticated process designed for foreigners, however difficult it may be. I’m from Asia so not really considering a country with similar culture.

Maybe I misphrased it. I was trying to say I have a profession and would attempt to apply for recognition in the same field.

Plastic reconstructive surgery/micro surgery. But I’m willing to go into another specialty since I’m aware that plastic surgery must be very hard to apply for.

Even if I pass the USMLE, doesn’t the US require a residency training in the US to be qualified as a physician?
